12/12/2017 15:37 | "#WTI 33% higher. Huge vote of confidence from Orion / a transformational deal for the co and shareholders. Kudos to the BoD. The share price --- some way to go before I get excited #copper" | x54v
12/12/2017 14:20 | Mattjos, I agree, the move to electric cars has seen a sea change in Orion's approach. They seemed very happy when they gave WTI a $10 million facility with few strings attached and must be very happy with this acquisition. This new confidence was endorsed by the Company in yesterday's RNS. Worrying about where the CAPEX will come from puts the cart before the horse. If the price of copper really takes off everyone will want a slice of it. add | leedskier
12/12/2017 13:43 | The long term chart starting to look really good now. A solid basing phase and ready to start trending up properly above 1p. Volume really picking up this year too which is productive and supportive of a potential rise. | x54v
12/12/2017 13:35 | Bought more on Today's news. | someuwin
12/12/2017 13:34 | depends on your belief as to price of copper over the next 20 years. Personally, I believe the Cu prices we are seeing now will be but a small fraction of where they will be 2020 onwards, as the electrification of transport drives Cu demand to levels not seen before | mattjos
12/12/2017 13:22 | WTI would need to phase the project as a POX plant alone will cost over$100m. The initial phases (assuming POX comes later) will cost $150-200m? So how will they fund it? If the answer is 100% Orion debt then I say run for the hills as Orion will be the only winner. If WTI wants to create shareholder value on its existing assets then it needs to raise c£40m from shareholders to reduce debt, provide CAPEX for central ops and ensure adequate working capital. As gearing (risk) reduces the share price rises. Then it needs another £50-100m of equity for the Zambian project plus $100-150m debt.If we have learnt only one lesson from Weatherly its that high gearing destroys shareholder value.Thomas has got his work cut out because he'll need a share price of 10-20p to raise that level of funding. | jp2011
12/12/2017 13:17 | Kitumba 2015 PFS available here ... Intrepidmines website u/s at present .. A lot of information there and the 'History' tab also very enlightening! Looks like Kitumba is the thin end of the wedge in terms of overall resources present. | mattjos
12/12/2017 13:16 | Baron Day a large WTI holder (family has 7%).... "#WTI Steve, would like to think all who have been buying will be substantially rewarded. I won't be going anywhere - this is a significant story/development. Will try and get some more on open" "#WTI People say "material news" but this is. The recent news has shown that the capex deployed and 'Independent international expertise' is working (hence guidance on nameplate). Today's news confirms again Orion are fully behind the mgnt. Today's new = a major step" "Intrepid Mines cited 37,000 tonnes of Copper per annum from Kitumba over a 13 year mine life. A game changing rns today imo which takes reserves to over 1million tonnes of Copper for #WTI" | x54v
12/12/2017 11:01 | This part of the RNS is especially pleasing on the eye ... the Company is confident in its ability to rapidly advance the project towards construction and production in the near term | leedskier
12/12/2017 08:21 | RNS pleasing to the eye! | wolfcub
12/12/2017 08:07 | Super news. Orion are clearly right behind the company. | mreasygoing
12/12/2017 07:24 | Interesting development. | leedskier
13/11/2017 10:05 | I reckon if the POC really does get a shift on and rises to $8000 then all will look good as we proba get other mine(s) on board? Still believe that 17000 tonnes is easily achievable. Hopefully C1 costs drop to $4200. If all three of those ducks come in next year as at those levels we could repay one third of our ORION debt off. Now if that materialises this share would go stellar!!! Glass more than half full statement though | billthebank
09/11/2017 15:27 | Can't get any under 0.70. They want shares. Be patient, next year will be very tasty. | mreasygoing
09/11/2017 15:08 | This is looking bleak. No buyers taking up the slack. | swinsco
09/11/2017 14:51 | Mm's after stock. | mreasygoing
09/11/2017 10:59 | Another analogy could be a rolling snowball, as they fix the issues and copper price increases, the share price rises at which point they raise new funds to increase production, which allows them to pay off debt quicker. Go back to 2009/10 and the share price rose spectacularly so events could move fast, 2018 is the year to watch. | jp2011
08/11/2017 15:51 | Buy the dips. I believe copper is going much higher. Once 1.2p is broken we'll see some action. | mreasygoing
06/11/2017 23:00 | H2O Price of copper is $7000/tonne | billthebank

06/11/2017 10:38 | Three quarters of costs in Namibian Dollar is based on the BFD released for the Tschudi project. | pedro57
06/11/2017 10:38 | The classification as Buy and Sells is based on an automated process based on mid price. It is not a correct classification as the .917 are indeed buys. | pedro57
06/11/2017 10:35 | Are trades being recorded properly, the .917 trades are almost certainly buys. | jp2011
06/11/2017 10:33 | When you fill your car up, are you paying in £s or $s? Actually you're paying the global market rate which is $s. Diesel & electric make up a substantial amount of the costs. | jp2011
06/11/2017 09:48 | Around three quarters of costs are in Namibian Dollar, which is linked to ZAR. Revenue is in USD as this is what copper price is traded in. | pedro57 |
