Peel Hunt today reaffirms its buy investment rating on Watchstone Group Plc (LON:WTG) and cut its price target to 270p (from 290p).

S&G shares have not dropped on the news at all.

Cawkie shorted Helphire years ago. It had huge bank debts and was a 'zombie'
Four years ago debt was paid off by the sale of new shares and a d4e swap.

Shares in Helphire (now Redde REDD) have risen sixteen fold since.

What is different here?

P.S. the Australian Financial Review has not covered S&G fairly. In the same way that Alphaville did not (but has since sensibly desisted) Try reading other sources.

Insurmountable debt. The writing has been on the wall for a long time, Slater Gordon (SGH) is going to be a complete wipeout for shareholders.
