You can only buy/sell 75,000 at the moment on Selftrade, quite pathetic. Also the spread has narrowed this morning, now 0.1p/0.14p.

Notice of AGM in, 31st October which just happily coincides with Halloween Night. I hope there is no significance in that date. Just wish they had chosen 5th November at least they could have given us fireworks when they announce a deal with a multi-million pound company!!!!

Barclays have reduced their holding to below 14% I see. They must do it just to generate an RNS and waste WHOG's dwindling money.

Reading through the results again made me grimace a tad. I thought they had c£500k in the bank to play with, reading the results again, that has now turned into c£130k. This values us at somewhere near a third of our current value.

I was encouraged when I read the results. At least we know they have held discussions and an attempt is being made to secure a deal. Will be waiting for further news in the coming weeks.

alby220, we always knew the timescale when suspension etc would take place, the only info which is more surprising is that if suspended, we may not get any money until May 2008!!!! If you need the money, I would say sell up until early November before suspension if no news is forthcoming.

they obviously wont say if they are in negotiations, and i understand why,the important question is the time frame we now know , and if they unfortunatly not sucessfull we now know if lucky may get something back subject to directors approval, and shareholders,i now have much more confidence in Acorn, and i have decided to hold my shares not sell (that is my opinion only) d.y.o.r

Thanks ALBY220

Guess we see what transpires then! I hope they are in negotiation & that we have a "happy ending & new beginning" with the WHOG!

Good luck all.

very impressed indeed!! got a very fast reply from them re WHOG

If Warthog does not complete a reverse takeover by 12 November 2007 the shares will be suspended. If they remain suspended for six months the shares will be delisted. Therefore the date of delisting, should an acquisition not be found, will be 12 May 2008.

Acorn is continuing to seek a suitable acquisition for Warthog. As you will appreciate the discussions, their status and possible outcome are very price sensitive and so I am unable to update you on them. As soon as an agreement, if any, is reached and announcement will be made.

If an acquisition is not made, it will be for the directors and shareholders to decide what should happen to the company and any remaining funds. This could include winding up the company and the distribution any proceeds to shareholders.

I hope that these replies are of assistance to you.

Hopefully this gives all us P.I.s who have WHOG shares a better idea of what is happening, and we have a longer time frame as to decide what to do with our holdings
Lets hope they are sucessfull in finding a reverse takeover,i am much more confident in them finding one now!! thank you ( d.y.o.r)

alby220, as far as I can tell, with my very limited knowledge, WHOG has c348m shares in issue and c£500k in the bank. This gives us a NAV of just under 0.144p per share. Given this, we may as well hope the company finds a reversal. If not, just hope the cash gets divided between the shareholders pro rata.

i like everybody else would like to have a idea on what is happening with WHOG
There is no email contact on whog's rule26 website, so the next best thing is acorn capital partners Dear Sir

As a present shareholder of WHOG could you please advise me regarding a few questions I have in respect of the company?

1~ can you please advise me of the date that WHOG could be delisted if Acorn Plc do not find a reverse takeover for it.?

2~ Have you had any success up to now in finding one , or a possibility of one?

3~What happens to any funds tied up remaining in WHOG 's account if you are unsuccessful in finding a reverse takeover for it, and WHOG is delisted?

Yours Sincerely

If the deal does not materialise in Novemeber, which is looking very likely now as these things don't just happen, what happens to the money that is sat in the bank? I have just over 2.8m of these and was wondering whether to drip sell before I could potentially lose the lot.

I think you are correct there winton2,it is a shame acorn does not see it worthwile to update us.The S.P. is so low now, worth a gamble to wait and see, near to the end before you sell
