Another go at the breakout!

Similarities to boohoo IMO, founding management team (been in the industry since school), very scalable biz model, international footprint with vast USA potential, value product aimed at teens/youths, heavy use of social media, building a brand...the list goes on. Add to this a strong balance sheet and a multiple that isn't overly demanding in these market conditions and we have some of the reasons for the strong share price performance. A word of caution however though is that it is a new issue so I hope there are no profit warnings around the corner, I.e boohoo from a year or 2 back. Just dropping back to my original point, we all know how successful boohoo has been and I expect this to follow the same trajectory. Of course patience required and all IMO. LONG.

Bigger picture here is the warpaint have built a scaleable platform which can easily reach a market cap of £500 mil over the next few years if they keep travelling in the right direction....so market pricing some of it in.

I'm not sure that link has anything to do with W7L, Warpaint. I'm not an ASOS expert but it looks like an outfit curated by somebody who has named it Warpaint. Regardless, W7L is doing well and I'm sure one could find examples of Warpaint makeup being sold out as others have done previously.

Terrific business, no debt, highly cash generative, 40 employees. Very good at spotting trends in the cosmetic market and getting new products out at reasonable price.

US expanded to over 12% of revenue.
"The global mass market for colour cosmetics is expected to be the fastest growing cosmetics market category and in mature markets such as Western Europe and the US, consumers are increasingly favouring low cost make-up. The US is the largest colour cosmetics market globally, with a retail value in 2015 of around $11 billion; this is nearly three times the second largest market of China, at approximately $4 billion. New product innovation, in particular, has been influential in the growth of the colour cosmetics market."

They are soon to launch new US and China focused e-commerce sites, with the ability to transact in local currencies.

"A priority for us throughout 2016 was to ensure that our internal infrastructure was of a very high quality, able to cope with increased business and the demands of being a public company. From our sound foundations, we can look forward to supporting future growth, new customers and markets and developing new products to stay on trend. With selective investment, and new hires where appropriate, we believe there is plenty of latent capacity available within our distribution network."

Looking forward to a lot of progress this year as international expansion kicks in. I expect the share price to be substantially higher this time next year. As usual dyor.

Not a big enough fan to buy back again either and going by family research they aren't a fan of their products. The share price is up with today's results and the outlook left me a little puzzled as to just how Trading is improving. Not trying to dish it only my opinion. GLAH

Well that report by Paul Scott wasn't very useful. Basically writes that he's not interested in the share and so won't research it, doesn't know anything about the industry so can't rate if it's any good. Think I could have done a better job than that!
