19/1/2008 19:20 | well i reckon the guy who bought £100,000 stock at 17.12 must believe they have bottomed out.be interesting to see how they open on monday. | manrobert
18/1/2008 21:07 | hAS IT BOTTOMED OUT? OR WILL WE SEE SUB £3? | bearstalker
09/1/2008 16:40 | think by the way the shares are falling that all their properties must have blown down in the recent strong winds. | manrobert
17/12/2007 15:55 | not much volume and dont forget jack petchy bt 18% at about the same pricyou did.hes not infallable but usually a good judge of value. | manrobert
17/12/2007 09:15 | it just gets worse and worse | hybrasil
28/11/2007 15:41 | Results are out on Friday I believe. Expecting a fall in NAV but dividend should be nice and safe. The fund management side of the business isn't reflected in the NAV either which allows such a rich dividend to be paid. Yielding over 6% at the current share price. Im happy just to trade the volatility here. If it spikes lower I will pick up some more and then sell them when it eventually bounces. | nickcduk
28/11/2007 15:30 | I have been sitting pretty well on the sidelines here. I bought in first at £2.50 and sold at £3. I bought a few shares recently at £4.65. So what if a shopping centre is secondary. The only important thing is do the tenants pay the rent. The next set of accounts will help but this company has an unbroken record of dividend increases. | hybrasil
28/11/2007 12:42 | And yet another 12 month low. Looks as though trending lower. Jack Petchy is not always right. When I first stared I followed him and bought into SAVE GROUP and lost what for me was a small fortune. So you have been warned. I am told that Warner as somewhat exposed to secondary shopping centres. Can anyone who knows the company well confirm? | pugugly
12/10/2007 12:38 | market has only just cottoned on to the fact that jack petchy has built up an 18.5%stake through 3 different investment vehicles.always found is very shrewd investor. | manrobert
02/10/2007 08:29 | I fully agree that this price should be higher in 3 years time but I'm not a buyer yet | hybrasil
01/10/2007 14:03 | you maybe right but a halving in share price may well already reflect this.wold be surprised if they are not a fair bit higher in 3 years time but f course its only my opinion. | manrobert
01/10/2007 11:53 | manrobert Be careful. Commercial Valuations are now changing rapidly particularily since nrk | hybrasil
01/10/2007 10:44 | ave followed this stock for many years and ave found management ery good.bt back in on friday.shold be notd that recent aset sales were above bok value. | manrobert
01/10/2007 09:57 | Just looking at another plc who announced price falls in its assets . This is why this is falling and it is relatively highly gerared | hybrasil
26/9/2007 20:24 | This share has now halved from a high of £9.20. At what stage does ''commercial activity'' come along. | hybrasil
24/9/2007 20:22 | boy did you get it right | hybrasil
15/8/2007 11:41 | Sold at 897 on the way down, thought I might be a bit premature but was very lucky!! Must be oversold now, though, so watching.... | win2003
15/8/2007 11:06 | anyone know can you takeover a reit ie do the same rules apply? This is on course to halve in value from its £9.20 high | hybrasil
23/7/2007 21:44 | Is anyone looking in on this? Level 2 looks like there is some significant strength on the bid and may be ready to move up, allowing for the downtrend in the sector. Is a bid possible? | peter kay
15/12/2006 10:01 | Thought this deserved a new thread. The commercial real estate sector has a number of stars, this is one of them IMHO. | win2003
09/2/2006 09:43 | this sale may be connected to reits wher the current indications are that no holding above 10% would be allowed if co.wanted to convert to reits. i think this reduces jack petchy stake to 14%. | manrobert
08/10/2004 17:24 | Now where have I heard that before? There are plenty who believe property and land have had their day i.e. Simon Cewkwell a bear on the subject for many years. Not always wright though. | praipus
08/10/2004 09:57 | I wish I had followed my own advice and kept for the longer term, but I have the attention span of a gnat and sold for a small profit after a few months. Good luck to those with more patience. | bangor
07/10/2004 17:08 | Bangor - are you still in these? I think they do deals with East Surrey ESH (ECWC significant holding of also) and some other water co's for land etc. Highly thought of I understand. | praipus |
