Tickboo many thanks.

TAM ... target addressable market ..

There is a lot of number waving in the data space, it would be great to see whether WAND are getting a more granular sense of what their revenue opportunity is , given the orders they are getting (i.e. They must be getting a bit more confident on the use case)..

If we are holding at £8 a share one has to believe this has a potential to double from here ..for it to double they need to be printing £50-£100 mn in revenues (at some point), does the data replication market support that run rate for WAND?

(A £100mn, of revenues will probably enjoy a market cap of at least £500 mn (6x revenue? , in a normalised environment not withstanding momentum premiums for the stock price as it grows into that run rate)... point is does that run rate really exist out there... how many nodes does that translate into given their pricing scheme, any detail at all on that other than a big top down number would help...

knighttokingprawn, I've emailed Vigo re the IBM OEM deal to see if there is a renewal date or whether it's just rolled over. I'll ask the other questions for sure.

What does TAM stand for?

Ticboo... for the BOD, do you think you could dig on the IBM OEM renewal. I think it's a rolling programme , but would be nice to have confirmation of renewal.

Any progress on new board members .. new chair for example?

Any other OEM relationships in offing?

Any detail on applications of Fusion i.e. Largest near term market opportunities .. snowball , spark .. backup ? It would be nice to hear them put a definitive number on Identified TAM.

Any prospect of relisting the stock in US?

Thanks tick....thought as much.
Yes the video was well worth a watch.
Management quietly confident I would say.

Hazl, I've seen 1 trades quite often and never followed by an RNS! I have some good questions to ask the BoD at the presentation and will report back. Good video posted last night. If we can reduce the cash burn to zero H2 and exceed market expectations I'm sure we'll be double figures. Given they thought we'd have a $4m FY burn and we only had $600,000 H1 and will get a rebate for R&D H2 this seems highly likely.

I wonder if there is any truth in the 1 trade business?
Some people claim it is a code for an RNS or something?
I have no idea.

MJ , I think you have valid questions. The honest answer to why anyone would pay 33x sales for a stock losing money is that the buyer of the stock implicitly thinks the forward sales multiple is wrong (i.e. Sales are moving materially higher).. you are absolutely correct to be cautious given much "good news" is in the stock. I do however hold for the long term in this one and my personal alarm bell sounds on whether the OEM agreement is rolled into 2018 and beyond.. that is perhaps a question for the BOD, .. I am still not convinced if I am honest that the companies market opportunity really is on the way to £50-100 million per annum which is what the bulls would need to see to justify a trading range of £10-15 imo.

Some fair points from meltonjohn and others. I'll be asking the BOD some questions at the presentation and will include asking how wand is different to newcomers such as google in the marketplace. Google can't guarantee 100% uptime but pretty damn near to it. The valuation looks high but given the momentum in the big data market with 175% H1 increase in sales, larger contracts coming though with major players, profitability seems near and I'd have thought wand will be a takeover target. I hope we hear of some more wins before the interim presentation and we continue heading towards double digits with FY profitability highly likely.

Grabster you misquote me

I was asked for a view on IBM's involvement and I said I didn't have one. I have asked for someone who might know the answer why a company losing money is worth 33 times its sales. That's not a view, it's a question. I have a view on buying stocks at inflated prices which will drop like a stone when the music stops and people rush for the exit. What's wrong with that. I have cash to invest, I don't gamble. Still doing my research and will wait until those who want to take profits do so if I ever decide to invest.

hazl, still nothing to add?

Agreed,posts trying to influence.
Again I see absolutely nothing wrong with anybody taking a profit.
If they've done the research and got in at the right time, good for them.

I think it's about what's comfortable for you.
People can make up their own minds.

MJ - you declare that you don't hold a view and are merely seeking info with which to form one; yet your posts are so strongly peppered with putdowns that you quite obviously do have a view, and it's a negative one.

There's nowt wrong with holding a negative view - nothing wrong with that at all. But to occasionally pretend that you don't hold a view just makes you sound dishonest.

It's like these people that keep crowing about DOTD going up.
I was in that at about 12p or something for a full 6 months trying to get some interest.
To no avail back then.

Picking these firms up when they are new and exciting but full of promise is my
preferred strategy.
Sure they don't all make it, but nowadays I think it's easy to see the likely winners if you look at the future trends.
We could get a crash of course but that's a separate issue.
I think WAND has a look of a winner.

Melton John why don't you come to the investor presentation and ask the questions yourself.

To the board as the price goes up there'll be loads of people who turn up here and says it is carp for all kinds of reasons. People can not help themselves when they see a stock rise which they are not in.

I don't have a view, trying to gather some facts to form one. I'm sure IBM have the financial resources to give it a try, doesn't mean it will necessarily be huge. It might still be investable even at this level, but it's a punt without some more information.
