21/1/2017 12:20 | Main reason I would have thought would be a bid by one of their customers. It would be a drop in their oceans to spend half a billion {at least}. | zagrosfold

16/1/2017 07:47 | WANdisco says total FY bookings up 72% on year 16 January 2017 | 7:14 AM Back to articles WANdisco said its total bookings are up 72% on the year to $15.5m, and that Big Data contract wins have underpinned significant business momentum. "We are delighted to have achieved record bookings in the fourth quarter of $6 million and total bookings for the year up 72%," said CEO David Richards. "Additionally, operating at nearly cash flow break-even during the quarter reflects the significant action taken to reduce our operational cost base, which coupled with our improved booking performance has dramatically reduced our cash burn rate, ending the year with no net debt," he said. "The key focus for 2016 was to establish our partner network and during the year we successfully secured our IBM OEM agreement, as well as two significant channel partnerships with Oracle and Amazon. "These partnerships are both strategically important to WANdisco as well as already significantly contributing to our bookings performance. "We have begun 2017 with a strong new business pipeline and a significantly reduced cost base, which together, will further our progress towards profitability." HIGHLIGHTS: - Record bookings secured in Q4 2016 up 97% to $6.1 million (Q4 2015: $3.1 million) - Bookings in H2 2016 up 109% to $9.6 million (H2 2015: $4.6 million) - Total bookings for the full year 2016 up 72% to $15.5 million (2015: $9.0 million) - Cash of $7.6 million at 31 December 2016 (30 June 2016 $1.1 million) - Cash burn reduced to $200k in Q4 2016 (Q4 2015: $6.9 million) showing a significant reduction in overheads - No borrowings on the revolving credit facility ('RCF') as at 31 December 2016 (30 June 2016: borrowings on the RCF of $3.8 million) | 3rd eye

13/1/2017 15:59 | I dont buy it Gorilla - the companies revenues are falling as per results statements. Why do people think revenue is rising? and for an £80m mkt cap. Bonkers. | shaunstar
11/1/2017 11:54 | Standish11 - have just read the PPS article. Basically says the technology is good, but it got ahead of itself share price wise. The ugly board room battle last year did not help. New customers are coming on board (Google/IBM/Amazon)a | gorilla36

19/12/2016 08:05 | I'll get bullish when they manage to stop revenue decline, rather than sign one off contracts which is light on detail (maybe 200k/yr?) Meanwhile joint broker = another placing. Imminent. They need cash by overdraft repayment date early next year. | shauniekent
19/12/2016 07:23 | Another contract win with IBM tie up, this time a major Automotive. | battlebus2
16/10/2016 00:23 | Article in the FT won't help the share price. | battlebus2
10/10/2016 07:25 | I was expecting something material.... It doesn't state over how many years or when they start. It could be over 5 years starting next yr ffs. And tbh those numbers are not significant in the face of wandisco huge ongoing cash burn. Speaks volumes the recent trading update gave NO numbers. Instead we get more promises about this pipeline of jam that's just round the corner. "Our new business pipeline for cloud solutions continues to grow." | shauniekent
10/10/2016 07:10 | Appointments.....and two contracts... | battlebus2 |
