Nope that’s it, my personal opinion was that it’s old news that’s just filtered in to the press. News blackout plus spurious buying at £10 was for sure related to potential Corp action which has dissipated hence the pullback to £8

Well we know from DR's presentation they had secured sales from Microsoft as early as March (immediately after the partnership was announced) as DR cited an example of a Microsoft client who waited a year to move into the cloud (wasn't comfortable with the downtime) and used fusion with Microsoft to do so. Impressive they executed this so soon after the tie up. Hence I'm surprised the quote that they're confident they're inline with expectations due the the burgeoning pipeline wasn't exceeding expectations. Update in a week so integrated in the commentary and of course bookings.

I've had a quick search but cannot find the article although on Vox it only had the comment you posted. Is there any more content at all?

Times mention: (not much substance but thanks for flagging up jaipatel001):

The market was watching Wandisco, an Aim-listed company that helps businesses to move data from their old systems to cloud servers, as rumours spoke of interest from buyers convinced that a recent tie-up with Microsoft could secure a steady sales flow. It fell 6p to 784p.

Well done horneblower. I hope you bought some for 7.50 yesterday so can make a few quick quid. Having been burnt a little recently I was nervous the downtrend might continue. Will be keeping my 1,000 as long as I can afford to and hope to sell for as much as pos. will keep my core holding long term as I believe this co could turn into a monster.

I believe they didn't think they needed to raise money due to the small loss and approaching break even and had a credit facility to tap into. I think Microsoft and Alibaba were concerned their financials and lack of cash in the bank so wanted a better balance sheet to enter an agreement. DR implied this and it makes sense. It would be odd to raise again unless they've somehow burnt a lot of the raised cash which I doubt. We'll see.

Re raises .. never trust a banker .. this is how they get paid .. you may bet they will be pressurising Wand to raise money ... the question is will wand havebthe good sense not Flor go for it ...

They don’t need it , but if you remember they said they didn’t need the last raise ?

You seem to have called it spot on. I should've put a limit but order in just above 7.50. Oh well.

The 750p area is, technically, a strong position from which it should bounce (not simply because it is a good round number).
It is due to the Elliot wave theory that a bear phase (WXYZ) is normally divided into two falls (WX and YZ) of equal length. This points at 750p.

Given our balance sheet due to the last raise I'd be surprised if we agreed to another. The raise was to facilitate the OEMs with Microsoft and Alibaba. Also the Swedish fund bought around 6% at a massive premium so I doubt they'd be too pleased as well as many others.

The last decline to 5.50 was dilution, what are odds another one is due? Or a large institute wants in at lower price?

I think one has to buy strength .. if the bulls on the stock are correct you own this for £15 plus ... we are at a very pivotal point for the stock .. a disappointing report could still shake a lot of money out .. it would need something extraordinary to see us meaningfully recover .. I think time is needed to repair the stock , I see no rush and would be happy to emerge from this wreckge into late August with a £8 handle on the stock ... that would be a major result and would set us up for better performance into 2019.. but to be clear if you are long no evidence yet to add.( buy strength) .. if you are flat ...wait for the report .. be patient wait for stabilisation at the £8 level .... betting on a major recovery doesn’t feel like a sensible strategy ahead of numbers...

Horneblower's post and chart 23 hours ago is worth a look. Hopefully bounces near to here (7.50 HB thinks).

Agree although I don't have any spare funds to buy unless I sell elsewhere. I could've saved a few thousand £s had I waited for my last 1,000 shares. Oh well the medium and long term is very bright. Should have the update in a week or so.

The blockchain rns said it all. Imo it was a holding statement while they pushed the trading update back hoping a significant deal would happen in the interim. New partnerships won’t cut it, we already have the worlds best cloud companies as partners. Any pullback on short termism over h1 results should prove and excellent medium term opportunity as ktkp mentioned. I’m itching to buy but am wondering if this is the pullback or if there is more to come so am waiting.
