Glad I managed to get 1,000 back at 7.399. Hopefully contract news to drop soon too. IBM certainly implied their pipeline was very healthy.

Yet further evidence wandisco’s role in the cloud ecosystem is gaining in importance.

Who knows nimrod. The market is up so it looks favourable, I've kept some powder dry in case there is a further fall or some unexpected news.

At the capital markets day the IBM rep suggested there were several deals in the pipeline that they were looking to close. We've heard about one of them which was chunky and here's hoping they close some more in the coming weeks and they're of similar value.

I don't see this falling further. The story is improving and there is every chance of another major contract win announcement on a daily basis.

Good stuff, let's get some momentum again and hopefully some news on contracts or new partnerships won't be too far away.

A good morning's work for me, trading down to a lower price. Managed to buy back some of the shares I sold at 792.52p for 733.50p. Every little helps as Tesco would say. I had to put a limit order in as I was quoted 738p. I'll be back for more at sometime when someone wants to sell.

I've just bought back my 1,000 so made £100, woohoo! Ha, better than a kick in the nuts. Back to 50 so let's move back on up!

If house broker PEEL would just withdraw their offer @ 740, this could move up again quite fast.

I spotted fat finger trade, but also a number of same size trades earlier. Maybe seeing patterns where they do not exist or it's the matrix telling us something. Happy trading.

Yeah I saw that trade and thought it odd. Red lion (as someone posted) or herring even?! Anyway, I've a lot to learn. So £6.90 to £7 should see support and a bounce. Anyway, thanks for your time/replies.

Hi tickboo, there is a fat finger, or incorrect trade near the close today. This has affected the shape of the candle on one of the charting packages I use.

It is trade number 104. Priced at 1500, the quantity is 742.
It should read quantity 1500, price 742

It has no bearing on the chart.

I have marked the fib retrace levels and the historical support zone [orange lines] 666-690

Thanks bamboo2, I'll have a good look tomorrow at his website on a monitor. On phone at the moment.Re wand - you said the upper wick sticks out like a sort thumb. Having quickly read up on it you expect it to go down further due to the upper wick but there the volume was low so it should be short lived. Is that what you're thinking?

tickboo, can I recommend Bulkowski? His website and books are all you need to get started. He doesn't really use traditional candlestick charting.

He has a pattern led approach. Have a look.

Ha, I looked up red lion trade and inevitably got several stories on boozers' trade suffering and forcing closures! Does red lion mean anything for that buy over the ask?

bamboo2 I've searched that and have read a little on candlesticks but the chart I have doesn't show them. Having quickly read up on it you expect it to go down more due to the upper wick but there wasn't huge volume so it should be short lived?I've just decided I'm gonna read a book on technical charting and then maybe watch some of these online videos once I have a basic understanding. Any recommendations on beginners books?

Looks like a fat finger!

Just looking at the chart now, the upper wick sticks out like a sore thumb.

nimrod, the next turn I have is tentative for Tuesday 30/1/2018
Once we have a few more candles on the chart I will be able to be more certain.

Hi nimrod the flag/pennant is seven sessions long, up until today.

The top of the flagpole was on 15/1/2018 at 840

A 50% retrace of the pole takes us to 700. It is a common point to find a bottom.
Will look at potential turn dates later.

If the share price drops fast & far enough, it should be worth buying back in stages. Worthwhile if it gets to 30 on the RSI graph. Maybe.......
Timing is always the problem.

Hi Bamboo, when you mentioned a flag a few days ago, over what time period were you seeing it?
