hmm surprised, I called up their offices a few weeks ago and they said earnings would be released on the 30th July. Must be tomorrow now I assume.

I reckon the 50k purchase at the end of the day was another by Lim Hua Min, who seems to acquire in 50k chunks. He seems very confident...

PhillipCapital UK Limited is their existing Lim UK company. Owner seems to be well known and respectable in Singapore having won a few awards.

This is a bite size acquisition for another wealth manager. The Singapore "owners" seem to want to keep involved. They could also merge with their UK business so there are a few value angles here with an enterprise value of only £8m on a profitable growing wealth manager. Then again, its been lowly valued for at least 5 years. Think on balance its a good entry point given the directors were buying recently.

could be. but is already at an all time historical low so cant see much more downturn even if market turns

Thing is if there is a market downturn/panic then stocks like this get absolutely hammered

maybe better to wait for now
