06/6/2008 11:52 | I sold these mid-August 2007 for 52p a share, having bought them at 181p, for a loss of 71%. Frankly, I'm amazed that they've fallen a further 90% since then. Blimey! :0( | cliffyburger
05/6/2008 21:28 | Wagon plc ("Wagon", "the Group", "the Company"), the European automotive components group, today announces proposed re-financing initiatives to realise growth opportunities and to place the Group in a stronger financial position to continue pursuing its strategy....OF DESTROYING SHAREHOLDER VALUE!! | topvest
05/6/2008 18:36 | yey more gains, these could fall again tomorrow aswell. remember how you lambasted me aleman for daring to suggest that this one was a suckers buy a few months back, you even had the arrogance to say you had filtered me, differing story now.... Aleman - 5 Jun'08 - 16:44 - 927 of 931 I see that we have hit my 6-7p target already. If they fall any lower they will probably represent good value but it beats me how anyone will have the confidence to buy after what has happened. It just shows how shares can be destroyed when the company is actually doing okay. If I still held I would certainly be trying to vote the board out. ENDS i for one bare no grudges like yourself and believe in free speech and democracy. | stockscreeners
05/6/2008 18:24 | Google 'Wilbur Ross' (re WL Ross&Co, the underwriters of the rights issue). That's not a man who's made mistakes often. | ch0ajl

05/6/2008 16:50 | Looks like the wheels have come off the wagon here. No doubt we will soon hear of BONUSES for the F.D who has looked very well after the CASH. | hvs

They could have raised cash last year much more cheaply and the shares might be 10 times higher now. HOLTS - I don't think it changes anything unless I have missed something. The prefs were never going to be convertible in the near future so it should have no effect. Relax and keep taking the dividends. | aleman
05/6/2008 14:42 | yeh, when the ceo says "this has been a year of encouraging progress", one has to wonder what planet he's on. Perhaps on his office wall, he has the companies share graph upside down. | cb7
05/6/2008 14:06 | Very good "Management" here. No doubt we will soon hear of BONUS awards | hvs
05/6/2008 13:53 | wl ross and the supremes? | cb7

05/6/2008 11:06 | whey hey another big PAY DAY. at my first target of 8p, but theres still more to come. we might get a blow out, but dont worry the share price will contine to fall after the spike. lubbly jubbly | stockscreeners
05/6/2008 11:04 | CB7. Nice post, people buying now could come out of this a big winner in years to come, as you say it means little buying 10k now at 8p instead of 4p because if you take up the offer it has very little difference to your overall buying price of 4p and that's probably why the shareprice is still trading at double the rights price. It now gets complicated, underlying Eps is 8p but the dilution with this placing you divide that by 10 ?, if so it would be 0.8p so a per of 5 if you take up the rights and buy at 4p but with a vastly improved balance sheet. In a market where solid companies with no debt trade on PER of 5 or less already i cannot see the value but i could be way out with my rough calculations ??? | 8trader
05/6/2008 10:55 | Who/what is WL Ross& Co and why would they want to takeover this Co by underwritibg the Rights Issue? | killieboy |
