02/1/2018 07:37 | Thanks for that rookiem. Very encouraging to see our little company getting a firm recommendation. Never easy to bring these sort of small caps to a wider investment audience. 2018 could well be our year and there is always the possibility of a takeover. Time to add a few more methinks! | denjon
31/12/2017 17:13 | WRES is one of the Top 10 picks for 2018 in The Sharehub. Best wishes for 2018 fellow investors! | rookiem
15/12/2017 15:04 | Agreed. Discount might be 20% rather than 25% and W price should continue to rise. | sleveen
15/12/2017 14:33 | Moreover any discount to the market price is likely to be covered by the Sn credits. Regards, Ed. | edgein
15/12/2017 12:38 | Sleveen that's assuming that tungsten doesn't continue to rise throughout 2018-2019 as the plant comes into production. That's why I used 290/MTU. Barony there's a discount because concentrate needs smelting into tungsten metal, it'll be contained metal concentrate that WRES will be producing rather than the refined product. Doesn't tend to get that big a discount, depends on the levels of impurities etc. Regards, Ed. | edgein
15/12/2017 12:35 | Sorry Sleveen, what does that mean? | barony
15/12/2017 09:59 | Edgein/Barony Don't forget that for the same amount of MTU there is a 20-25% discount to the ATP price for concentrate. | sleveen
15/12/2017 09:52 | Ed, thanks for that. Looks to me thar there is divi in our future. | barony
15/12/2017 08:41 | Barony, If you use 170,000 MTU and they average $290/MTU then its around $49m turnover. If they keep costs below $100/MTU as they suggest its a cash cow with significant margins. As the company mentions tungsten is listed as a critical metal, its only main supply is from China and some are predicting tungsten prices to strengthen further. "The Board is delighted to have received preliminary approval for the funding of La Parrilla. 2018 looks set to be a transformational year for the Company as we conclude the plant development and start production at La Parrilla, which is on track to be one of the world's largest tungsten mines, whilst remaining extremely low-cost to bring into production. Our shareholders have been extremely patient and we now look forward to closing the financing and accelerating the development process." It all sounds pretty good to me. Regards, Ed. | edgein
14/12/2017 22:14 | Tipped in money week this week | newdocabat
14/12/2017 10:43 | At today’s price for Tungsten, how much should we be receiving per annum for our higher production number? Another thing:Whatever happened to our sale/farmout of the gold prospect? | barony
13/12/2017 09:05 | How many "mtu" are there in 1 "ton of concentrate" Depends on the % W Eg 1 MTU = 10kg WO3 100%, so 10kg WO3 is contained in 16.9kg WO3 60% concentrate. so 2700t 60% concentrate = about 1700t 100% WO3 = 170000 MTU. | sleveen
12/12/2017 21:27 | Can anyone clarify a question for me please? Why do WRES specify that they will produce 2,700 "tons of concentrate" p.a. but then indicate the market price of tungsten in $ per "mtu", rather than $ per "ton of concentrate"?How many "mtu" are there in 1 "ton of concentrate"?Thanks. Sorry to be a bit confused. WRES does look quite attractive at a market cap of £20M if it has now sorted out its main funding as a loan with no equity. The IRR certainly looks high. | cyberbub
12/12/2017 12:56 | I have had a look David and think it will still pull back but good luck!!! | chesty1
12/12/2017 10:19 | Most people go on about funding and soon it will be done | davidpines
12/12/2017 10:13 | Like the bit about being one of the world's largest tungsten mines. Certainly looks as though now is the time to invest. '2018 looks set to be a transformational year for the Company as we conclude the plant development and start production at La Parrilla, which is on track to be one of the world's largest tungsten mines, whilst remaining extremely low-cost to bring into production' | denjon
