237gmoney: Am surprised with the drop in share price as the company was nominated for an award at the Venice film festival for its work for the BBC on the Berlin Blitz recently. Part of the problem is that we are in a closed window before results as the Directors cannot buy pre-results which are coming out on 18th. The results will not show the sales figures of the recent Titanic VR experience as this was just released post results. What it will show is how much cash is left in the bank post IPO which will give us a steer on how the company is going. The stock was oversubscribed at IPO so why is it not pushing higher now? Mkt cap now currently circ.£25m which is not very much if they still have say £5m cash in the bank. The company has been expanding its staff recently so has beefed up its capabilities to grow the company further next year. The Titanic VR app is currently selling for £14.99 on the rift but has not yet been deployed I think on the Playstation or PSVR. That could be a reason for the drop? Either way I just think this drop is short term - the company would be prime for a takeover at this level I think. Just IMO.
highbury grease monkey: What's people view on the share price, it's been slowly dropping over the last 3 months??
highbury grease monkey: With the titanic release tomorrow, what's ppl thoughts on the share price? Or do you think it will take a few weeks to have a positive effect.
237gmoney: Hazl..... I admire your enthusiasm....relax and breath... :) August is going to be a big month here and I am looking forward to it also. I would expect VRE share price to pick up some momentum again and push towards 30p on release of the Titanic experience app. I notice this morning that you can already buy a bundle on the Oculus Rift for £18.99 which includes the Titanic VR experince - not sure if this is the full version but it shows that the full release is not that far away! 237gmoney: Http:// VR Education got a good mention in the investors chronicle last week which probably has something to do with today's rise. Not long now until the Titanic VR experience is released so that should give a big boost to the share price over the next couple of months
237gmoney: Great to see the share price rebound quickly. Almost back to the highs of two weeks ago. The share price graph does look good with news that the Titantic VR experience is not that far away from it's commercial release.I think delaying the release of the Titantic VR experience it not necessarily a bad thing as it allows the company to really set the marketing machine up in full force behind it. As it is launching on so many different platforms all at once it just gives everyone a bit more time as well to promote it.Hopefully Oculus or HTC Vive give us a bigger slot as well as it will help sell headsets over the summer period.
237gmoney: Always interesting to see a buy of 42k shares at 16.29pm and 21 seconds.....right before the close. I do wonder was this person waiting to press the buy button all day long and just hit it as the minute hand touched 16.29pm or maybe they know something we don't? Or it could be completely coincidental and they just let time get away and thought to themselves AH! I must buy some VRE shares, oh what is the time..... ....Hmmmm. Good to see a late flurry of buys before the close though and a strong trading day here. Any positive news should see the share price head towards 30p
237gmoney: The share price just seems to keep rising today? The Company valuation in my last post is now out of date! :) Is there something else going on? Surely a director buy hasn't brought on a near 50% rise in the share price. Possibly another announcement coming maybe or has the market just woken up to this
237gmoney: Wow the take off here has been much better than I expected. I actually bought some more on the news as it was too good to be true. Am all in now here. I really like the team behind this company. Mr Cooper, Chairman was also behind GVC plc and started in 2008 when the share price was around 160p - he left a few years ago when share price was 1000p and the company was a multi billion dollar company. Great to have him on board and hopefully good times ahead here also. Note we still have the full release of the Titantic to come soon as well which will also be a great release for the company
liamnich04: Not long to go for the Oculus Go.. "Facebook is reportedly planning to launch its Oculus Go standalone virtual reality headset at the company’s F8 developer conference this year. Variety reports that the VR headset is likely to make its debut at F8 in May, alongside Facebook’s promise of “the biggest AR / VR news from Facebook to date.” Should do well for EVRH and VRE share price as VR head sets become more "maintstream"
