08/1/2016 10:31 | FAN having a flirt with 200p. The chart is looking great. | saucepan

22/12/2015 15:52 | Some really good volume today, especially when considered against the fact that this week is Christmas week and market volume is low across the board. I have added. | cfro
19/12/2015 17:44 | .....And judging by how unseasonably warm it is for this time of year, holding a FAN is probably not a bad idea. :-) Good to see others here etavener. I see there was (or has been) a placing of some 32m shares a couple of months back placed by the broker on behalf of a major shareholder. Sometimes situations like this can hang on the stock and hold the price back until cleared. If, of course, the broker handling the deal already has buyers in mind then often placings of this scale are not a problem. Using a basic tool such as simply observing the chart, it actually indicates that no over-hang is currently present otherwise, succinctly put, the share price would not currently be moving up! | cfro
19/12/2015 13:31 | Good to discover another "FAN club" member, etavener; welcome :-) cfro: well-made points above regarding the attractiveness of the acquisitions and the prices paid. | saucepan
19/12/2015 11:57 | Hi Saucepan,Sharescope drew my attention here a month or so ago. I was tempted to set up a thread but didn't want to be talking to myself.Anyway, nice to see others on board. I like the look of this share and I'm in nice profit already. Should be good for 2016.ET | etavener
18/12/2015 11:57 | What i really like about this company is that it seems to be on the war path making very shrewd acquisitions. Back in July, for instance, they bought Ventilair for 16.3m Euros. This company is making sales of 14.3m Euros (which means that FAN paid a price to sales PSR of 1.1). PBT was 1.5m Euros so margins of roughly 11% and gross assets of 11.5m Euros. Good value i would say. More recently FAN bought ETQ for £9.25m with revenues of £10.77 (so PSR of less than one). ETQ were making PBT of £0.77m and has gross assets of £5.2m. Both acquisitions are therefore very earnings enhancing. | cfro
16/12/2015 11:38 | Hi both. Great to have some company. gr1982: this is what ShareScope is currently showing: In the post above I quoted the "Slater PEG" i.e the Alt-Rolling PEG. It may be that ShareScope's figures are not correct if you are seeing different elsewhere? They are usually reliable, however. As you will see, there is quite a bit of variance in the different PEG metrics. I usually find the Alt-Rolling PEG the most useful: a nice balance of historical and forward. | saucepan
16/12/2015 11:04 | Hi saucepan, thanks for setting this BB up. Q: Are you sure the PEG is correct because everywhere I have seen the rolling PEG its coming out above 1? thanks | gr1982
15/12/2015 11:20 | This snapshot of fundamentals, taken from ShareScope on 15 December 2015, looks rather compelling: Rolling P/E 2 = 15.1 Slater PEG = 0.34 I took an initial position today, hence the opening of this thread. I was surprised to find there was not one! | saucepan

15/6/2011 09:01 | There you go: For future reference, it takes 10 seconds to set up a new thread. Click Add Thread, type in the EPIC and name, click the check boxes for charts and fundamentals and that's it. | protean |
