01/10/2008 10:13 | If it gets to 1/2 p maybe worth a quick bounce before extermination! | jotoha1
01/10/2008 09:43 | I am sorry for all holders, but its another example of PI's being shafted by a dodgy AIM company o/t - but fuel cell question - so dont shoot me please. CFU trades on AUS exchange and was up 25% yesterday to equiv of 19p. In UK it is 15.5p Surely it should be 19p? I imagine there will be a correction to UK price today. If so, there's easy money to be made trading this - or am I totally wrong? | asparks
01/10/2008 09:18 | I totally agree. | asparks
01/10/2008 09:14 | FSA should be investigated not just vlr. Too many companies on AIM appear to be deliberately run down to the benefit of Directors who casually pick up the pieces in MBO. I hold 40k @ 20p, bought as a long term hold on information provided by vlr on future potential and markets. Always a gamble but it would appear a lot of information was misleading. Better vlr return what cash is left to PI. No doubt that Voller has himself secured a healthy pension fund whilst drawing substantial salary for years. I wouldn't be suprised if parts of vlr were sold to family members at discount! | ucretin
01/10/2008 09:08 | its over. even voller himself knew that. That's why he threw the towel in. IMO VLR should be investigated by FSA for releasing misleading statements to the market | asparks
01/10/2008 08:59 | horrible results | silkywhite
30/9/2008 15:19 | yeah right | asparks
30/9/2008 14:40 | Hello I know for a fact the 100,000 trade earlier on is a buy not a sell. rgds | gerryflintstone
30/9/2008 14:32 | asparks: totally incorrect. too many savvy vultures watching here and three or four times as much cash per share than prevailing s.p.! something will happen. just have to be patient. what's the point in selling now and by doing so guarantee a whopper loss????? virtually nothing to lose and everything to gain! | worlds lrgest undies
30/9/2008 12:57 | of course - its finished here. I see no point in holding on in if you are. | asparks
30/9/2008 11:59 | just sells every day | brwo349
30/9/2008 11:03 | its over. buy ITM or CFU instead if you like fuel cells | asparks
30/9/2008 10:56 | brwo349, Oh yes with the benefit of hindsight! We dont all have a crystal ball. | silkywhite
29/9/2008 17:15 | Well I have a piddling 25,000 shares. They were bought at several multiples of this price however. For those expecting results it may be worth noting Voller dont need to release these until the end of december. What are the chances a management buyout may happen. This could explain the news blackout which may cause a lower shareprice that would be favourable to a buyout. Just a thought. | jim_black
29/9/2008 14:31 | Voller Energy - selling pirate DVDs down the market. New thread? | volsung
29/9/2008 14:11 | down she goes again. Commiserations to holders. Always a risky one but you could have sold a lot higher. | brwo349
29/9/2008 10:50 | I have 208,745 shares. Ive been luckier than some since my average price is 9.9 pence. If we can get 10% together in total we can call an EGM. | silkywhite
28/9/2008 19:49 | nicd I take your point entirely. Perhaps Progressive Aim Realisations, holding 8.3% will live up to their name. If anything is to happen the initiative must obviously come from the bigger shareholders. | varies
28/9/2008 19:43 | Sorry but I would not offer 1P to do anything with Voller, I have to accept my losses and hope that somthing may come back | nicd
28/9/2008 19:41 | paulypilot and others I offer my commiseration in our sad losses. I have 100,000 too many shares in VLR. I believe my average price paid must be about 32p as well. The directors hold about 5,400,000 shares, I believe, say 27% of the capital and it might, therefore, be possible for enough of us to get together and throw them out! There has been at least one company where Bulletin Board subscribers achieved this but I fear that the process is difficult and expensive and we certainly do not want to provide any golden parachutes. This is not a company I look at often (and I shall now refresh my memory) but there must be some news due soon. | varies
28/9/2008 18:58 | worlds lrgest undies, Have you heard anything about vultures circling or are you guessing(or hoping!) The fall looks well overdone here in my humble opinion. VLR should still have approx £2M net cash. Current market cap a mere £0.61M | hugepants
28/9/2008 09:57 | Pauly, are you serious, £250K lost? I have lost about £3k and that really hurts, but of course, there is a lot more lost on equally bad "investments" around the same time | nicd
28/9/2008 09:37 | don't worry sparky! there's loads of cash still and a variety of enterprising vultures are sniffing. just be patient. sad though the useless imbeciles are thieving their monthly stipend still.... | worlds lrgest undies
28/9/2008 09:30 | tell them to give back the money they hold rather than paying it to themselves in fat salaries - | juju43
28/9/2008 03:18 | Hi, Oh dear, this has been a complete disaster. I bought 1m shares at about 32p, so have lost over £0.25m on this one. Ouch. Looking back it's obvious that it was a load of rubbish. Voller himself struck me as a nice man, but my inner voice said to me at the time that he's not an entrepreneur at all - more a boffin who may or may not be a genius. That's the gamble you take with this kind of thing. Bull market fluff. I believed the hype, and got it wrong. Sorry about that. Obviously we all make our own investing decisions, and are man enough to take the good ones with the bad. But it's clearly not worked out. I shall speak to the man in charge & let's hope they can do something with it, even as a cash shell, once the current financial market hiatus has passed. Regards, Paul. | paulypilot |
