28/7/2022 00:22 | Just need to break above 300p. | its the oxman
27/7/2022 16:21 | Marching back to 300p again, be nice to see it hold this time. | wanttowin
26/7/2022 08:59 | Yes,you're quite right, the volatility is off putting.I'm not sure that it's traders as such, more the algorithms that are dictating the trading patterns.Trading in UK equities is relatively light across the board especially during the Summer when most parties are stuck on the M20 and airport lounges. There's a temptation to take profits where available because there's global uncertainty and every rally seems to lack durability.I've bought in here but not in size and remain with a sizeable overall cash position. The risk/reward in equities in pretty skewed and frankly its stressful and irritating to cope with equity trading currently. That said,Volex has enjoyed a significant price recovery, rising around 40% from the post results slump. | steeplejack
25/7/2022 21:50 | According to the LSE site , 197,309 Volex shares sold today , but 339,265 shares bought , so you might expect share price to recover . Just because the share fell back today , there is no need to sell . Indeed , if you believe in the future prospects of Volex , you might seize this opportunity to top up but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH . | mrnumpty
25/7/2022 15:57 | Its like you can almost guarantee, when momentum dries up, the traders will cash it. Its happening with alot of small caps. It damages the market with all this volatility, it puts alot of potential investors from investing... | igoe104
25/7/2022 15:17 | Disappointed 300p didn't hold, fuking hate this market. I want to be an investor not a trader but its becoming frustrating. | wanttowin
25/7/2022 13:44 | Wait for Wordwind to post about the worst global recession since Big Bang and then buy. Works every time. | ijamlon
25/7/2022 13:34 | IMO support at 295 then 282. There is also a gap at 273 it may want to fill, but wtfdik. | disc0dave45
25/7/2022 13:11 | The share price had been on a strong ascent so a pullback is natural. Just to where is the question... | johndoe23
25/7/2022 11:52 | Yep, no surprise IMO. | disc0dave45
25/7/2022 11:41 | Traders jumping ship.🙄 | igoe104
25/7/2022 10:07 | "Philips shares plunged 9% after the Dutch medical equipment company missed second-quarter core earnings expectations by a significant margin and cuts full-year and mid-term profit outlook." | trcml
25/7/2022 09:04 | Im not actually interested in pod point. Useful though because its allowed me to just filter and ban 3 cretins | john09
25/7/2022 07:20 | Use the filter button, it helps keep my blood pressure at more normal levels and saves time. | redartbmud
24/7/2022 13:37 | Pod Point tipped in the Sunday Times today | john09
22/7/2022 12:15 | Usually get a first quarter update at the AGM not till 19th August, a bit more meat on the bones we know the year has started strongly with the outlook on results ,£3.50 will be fine but still think previous high will be broken this year with our EV exposure. | wskill
22/7/2022 11:43 | Yes, 200 day MA now broken | johndoe23

22/7/2022 10:47 | The cost of copper ..... I'd the the unicorn will know that .... | oilinvestoral
22/7/2022 09:41 | Even I, a maximum bull, have to look at the last 20 trading days with some disbelief. Without any company news, Volex has made a gain of 38% (with dividend) against the backdrop of a FTSE All Share that has risen just 4%. A relentlessly powerful rally, where every little dip quickly reversed. In my experience, it's starting to feel like someone is building up a strategic position and/or some corporate activity is brewing. We shall see. | ijamlon
21/7/2022 18:51 | Having said all that the share price held up pretty well today considering we went ex divi too. | sooty snipes
21/7/2022 18:14 | Thanks for the info.Seems mixed results, but doesn't seem to say that it's not a profit making signal. Personally if a stock is overbought I tend to wait, I only use the 14 day on a yearly basis combined with 50SMA and 13 and 21 exponential MA.From the papers conclusion:"The RSI usually produced value of the final capital above the initial invested capital; therefore, it can be evaluated as useful indicator that can be used in building of trading systems. However, day-to-day optimization of its parameters is according to obtained results not recommended as it usually produced worse results that the RSI with original parameters. Simulations on the shorter time interval confirmed findings, and no essential differences to results on the longer time interval were obtained." | disc0dave45 |
