Old Laurel Bush has changed his tune. From his previous post:These looking good, to me dividend in the bag, I can?t see them cutting it, with that free cash flow.Rather be long than short and caught.Nice one Laurel!spud

@andycapp1 unless the market has already priced in a divvy cut. Then if the cut is less severe than expected the share price might actually rise...

Monty if they half the dividend the shares will tank! That is because free cash has dried up. You can’t have it both ways. You are confident (I’m less so but willing to hold) that current revenues then free cash will support the dividend. If they cut, then it’ll be a function of weakening cash which in turn impacts equity value. So if they cut then the shares will tank!

Did not stay under 140p for long. Only six weeks to go for figures, my prediction dividend will be paid, but even cut in half, yield still well above ftse100 median.

Ahh just checked they can only buy back the 800m issued, still they are saving £320m. Although the money is long gone now so it doesn't really make any difference.

It is the past MCB but that is what the share buybacks are for. See the bottom of the buyback RNS's.
