15/4/2024 10:41 | Well done Vodafone, crept into the top 10 fallers in the FTSE 100 at number 10. And congratulation Luka Mucic, £78K down on that £1.7m buy in Vodafone recently. Perhaps he should have waited? That's what, 5 attempts to break 70p recently? 6th time lucky... | davius

12/4/2024 09:08 | aspect NO you said Director buying bid coming We and anyone else knows what you were implying. It's a desperate or hopeful ramp also wholly inaccurate and misleading. Insider dealing in this instance that you suggest would be directors buying while a bid is coming. That's a serious offence with a serious sanction. Therefore the directors ARE NOT buying with a bid coming. That should be clear to you. I just called out your directors buying and bid coming post. Wiggle as much as you like but be careful on the way out and don't trip over any more ramps. | jenniferzz
12/4/2024 00:39 | Jennifer I do know what insider trading is,and the two comments were meant to be separate. I don't ramp shares, and no one is going to buy because of what they read on a BB. There are always companies around the world looking at other firms in the same line of business with a view to merge or take over. VOD made one of the biggest take overs ever in 2000,when it acquired Mannesmann for nearly 200 Bln. Investors should take note of the buying by directors,as it often means progress is being made. | aspect100
11/4/2024 19:05 | Davius...post 8120...because VOD has been dishing out convertible loans/bonds like confetti... | diku

11/4/2024 16:35 | New lows every day.Oh well cant go down much more than 66p now. | anony mous
11/4/2024 13:54 | Diku, the buybacks to date have been to avoid dilution in respect of convertible loans, they buy shares to compensate for those used. The upshot is no difference in the shares available. The new buy back, when it begins, is intended to reduce the overall shares in issue, so should, in theory, have an impact on the share price. I'm also in ITV, LLOY and (lately) DWL, all of which are in the midst of significant buy-backs and all seeing an impact on the share price | davius
