20/10/2004 10:42 | 3 parsnips, sometimes it is better to take off your rose coloured specs & realise that this is only going one way & as done so for a very long time. I take no pleasure in seeing anyone lose their money (even Geko), however this thread has been full of Geko type people who always knew better than anyone else & any post that didn't fall in line with "Geko's Law" was berated & spat upon. However I think that Geko & his fellow scooby gang owe an awful lot of people an apology. | recruiter
20/10/2004 10:35 | Virtue Communications Hi JNBRW, Your comments : Judging by the strength of selling ??? Considering there are 753,000,000 shares in issue...Todays sells = 570,000 I do not think that "Anyone" could suggest that a mere 570,000 of sells could be described as "Strength of Selling"...even if we were to see several million sells...that would still be a drop in the ocean... Yes it is dissapointing to see the share price where it is...however I feel that it is worth remembering that some of the Larger Shareholders with shareholdings of 200,000,000 + shares are not selling...they could not sell them..if they wanted to..their shares are just pieces of paper...worthless unless they have something else up their sleeves... Patience required now to see us through to when the Bigger picture is revealed..the Big boys know what they are doing..they know where they are taking this company...hold-on tight..Looks like it is going to be a bumpy ride. -------------------- JNBRW - 20 Oct'04 - 09:55 - 26995 of 27003 judging by the strength of the selling here could dip to 0.75/1.25 or even test 0.75/1.0 on an intraday low basis - very weak sentiment here by the looks of it , the mkt is v unimpressed imo -------------------- 3Parsnips | 3parsnips
20/10/2004 10:19 | JNBRW....I also am sitting on losses as I have made clear but its impossible not to when you want to pick up large quanities of stock in most cases, unless you are a director that can issue options/bonuses etc. I cannot remember, when I was last able to call bottom but have seen some very rapid changes of my fortune having thrown out a large net. However, I am not happy about the way the management have screwed the small shareholders while upholstering thier own pockets as I have also made crystal clear. | clocktower
20/10/2004 10:08 | jnbrw certainly right there. | lburby
20/10/2004 10:04 | ct - glad you are but there are many on here who are sitting on massive losses because of the ramping and false expectations on here - I doubt that they are 'delighted' | jnbrw
20/10/2004 10:04 | I keep saying it can't get any worse , .... but it does ... ahh well ... luchan. | luchan
20/10/2004 10:01 | LOL...JNBRW....LOL.. | clocktower
20/10/2004 10:00 | Could be a bounce around 1.5p - would still be capped @£11m+ though. | isis
20/10/2004 10:00 | I can only buy 100k on-line @ 1.87p even though the MM have picked up a fair wedge at 1.5p...the spread is increasing...they must feel they are getting near the rock face at the bottom of the well or they would be under 1.75p right now. | clocktower
20/10/2004 10:00 | Not bleating JNBRW, I'm man enough to admit my own mistakes, but I would NEVER laugh at someone else's losses, that is the pits. | bungeetrader
20/10/2004 09:58 | Bungee/ct - little point in bleating on here now - many should have listened to the many warnings that were given over this one instead of the idol worship of your leader ( where is he now? still in mauritous?? LOL). This is a very sorry tale but one that could have been avoided by many. | jnbrw
20/10/2004 09:55 | judging by the strength of the selling here could dip to 0.75/1.25 or even test 0.75/1.0 on an intraday low basis - very weak sentiment here by the looks of it , the mkt is v unimpressed imo | jnbrw
20/10/2004 09:53 | You could be right JNBRW, however the wind can change at the drop of a hat. One butterfly fluttering its wings in Brazil could cause a storm in the UK.:-) | clocktower
20/10/2004 09:53 | JNBRW, there is nothing lower than someone gloating about the losses of others. | bungeetrader
20/10/2004 09:45 | oh dear looks like what some called my 'wild' prediction of 1.5/1.75 is about to come true (lol) - looks like this could easily test the longer term low of 1/1.5 now imo | jnbrw
20/10/2004 09:32 | Why would someone sell 265k of shares at 1.5p!!! | fmcalorum
20/10/2004 09:19 | I am happy to wait, Ingrid...I have been investing/trading in these from sub 2p before as you could see from previous threads. However,I do not agree with you. There is more than meets the eye with WTV`s growth pattern that has been established. Just look what they have done for VTB`s holders....swallowed them and now spitting them out on the cheap. This outfit, is the real thing....the black hole that seems to surround a lot of Jersey based big shareholders. Just look how they got them to stump up with loads of cash at 3.25p...lol | clocktower
20/10/2004 08:59 | ct, if they manage to upsell into virtue clients significant business, then in the long-term there might be some potential for an increased valuation. but production companies will never carry significant multiples. this will take a long time. | ingridbalsam
20/10/2004 08:58 | Then it about time they started producing results and clear information for investors. Ingrid, I have being buying down from 3.25p...in the main sub 2.5p, but it now does look like it could go even to 1.5p...silly me, I now think I may have been able to pick up all the stock I have at sub 2.25p. That will teach me to strat buying to soon. Still next drop down, I may pick up another fair wedge with luck from some generous souls. | clocktower
20/10/2004 08:52 | Ingrid, for the benefit of those of us basically locked in, where do you see this going in the future? I personally see things improving but must admit I am bitterly disappointed with the share price performance. | bungeetrader
20/10/2004 08:43 | doing well i see. except for web conferencign comment by good old jon king, which by the way i don't believe for one bit, going exactly as i said. webcasting is just one piece of the total offering - this was, is and will continue to be a production company. | ingridbalsam
19/10/2004 18:21 | Hard to believe you could once have got £3.80 for these. | 00harry
19/10/2004 18:18 | The good news for you guys is that often, the harder they fall the bigger the bounce. Gonna watch this one carefully as i have feeling that the worst may be over, but the next results must be good. | 00harry |
