17/10/2004 12:40 | Virtue Communications Re : World television Plc Just to confirm the comments from " exotic"...I also had a look at the Companies House website and as exotic was saying it is was shown as a plc until April 30th...then it was changed from (PLC) to (LTD) and had another name before that. * Unless that term meant (PLC) Private Limited Company Closed weekends..check it out Monday ; -------------------- exotic - 16 Oct'04 - 13:39 - 26910 of 26914 Can anyone explain why WTV were called World Television Group PLC, until 30th April this year when they became LTD? Could it be that WTV were preparing for the deal as early as April? -------------- 3Parsnips | 3parsnips
17/10/2004 11:29 | daniel333 Your statement regarding PLCs is incorrect. The term PLC is one that affects the number of shareholders / directors and other management roles / reporting responsibilities. It is perfectly possible to be a PLC without ever offering your shares to the general public or listing on an exchange. | nav_mike
17/10/2004 10:14 | Hi daniel333, According to Companies House, they were World Television Group Plc between 2000 and 05/2004. Before this period they had another name (which escapes me now, CH not being open Sunday) which was also a Plc. | exotic
17/10/2004 09:53 | World Television has never been a PLC exotic. PLCs must offer their shares to the public and World Television have never had a listing so could not have been a PLC. | daniel333
16/10/2004 16:59 | According to the bb's this weekend something interesting is developing at Minmet (MNT) @ 3.5p and not yet in the public domain. | the speculator

15/10/2004 17:57 | Spin "as a larger shareholder"?? you are so full of garbage, you have no idea how many shares I have whether large or small and I am not interested in any of your assumptions either. If you are suggesting that I have been insider trading then you had better get your facts right buddy. Either that or you had better start retracting your comment fast. Jam | jam tommorow |
