I was trading this yesterday intra-day and for no apparent reason someone starting buying in volume against the mood of the day.

A large amount of volume went trough at 275 against an iceberg seller but this only helped the buyer who was throwing 25k buy orders at it.

It is my view there were two buyers yesterday. One decent sized automated trade program and a human.

I'm not really watching it today as I happily took my 6pts off it yesterday and I don't have a long term position.

PAG, OSB and ALD all moving up as well but with nowhere near the same conviction. ALD looks the best opportunity to me from here

i feel your pain!
only 400,000 plus sold but more tax that bought .
all the sells lately have been automated sells and mostly small amounts.
like i said before we have no PPI and no historical claims against VM.
to think we are getting towards the price when the brexit result was announced last june!
Last time this year we were about £3-05 and nothings changed except the share price.
can not understand why all the high street banks are up!
This share will be back over £3-00 soon trading update coming 17/10/17
Perhapscthe management should make some sort of statement earlier to reassure investors

I don't know who is selling this today but they are getting on my nerves. LLOY,BARC and RBS all have decent gains and this continues to fall

Checking out stockopedia forecast eps have steadily been upgraded over the last 12 months reaching 36.7p for the current year.

OxmanSorry I didn't respond yesterday and yes it's all a bit frustrating at the moment but as we've said before it's seems to be a nice clean bank but unfortunately they have been dragged down with the rest of them.Given time these will be back up.gla

Change in sentiment might help. Banks just not in favour at the moment. I've bought some today to short term trade. 10-15 points will do me as a starter.

ALD & OSB seem to be moving back up, rest of sector struggling.

Hi Nortic / Glentaz, this has been a frustrating play for me , was almost getting tempted to sell and move on but seems great value at this level and last years placings were also carried out much higher. Just not sure what us going to light the fire under this one at the moment.

I was an AIM Market Maker for 27 years and now I'm retired I have never traded them since. I loved that market but it can be a casino .Some people say life is a casino !!!!

GlenkazYou've bought into a nice clean company that could one day possible end up in the hands of another bank just like TSB did. This won't be the most exciting stock you'll ever own but you will be able to sleep at night.Take baby steps and you'll make your money back in time.
