29/1/2021 14:52 | It appears you are getting fact and fantasy muddled, perhaps you should include my post in December advising people to sell, or do you only read what you want to hear? If you want to invest in things you know nothing about you would be wise to listen to all opinions, not just those that suit your Greater Fool investing. | andyj
29/1/2021 14:42 | I filtered him ages ago as his comments are unduly pessimistic and unhelpful, or he is a troll. He was warning us not to. Invest when VN was sub 900. Suggest you all do the same unless you can see some value in his comments. | shaker44
29/1/2021 13:32 | andyj You have been warning us for very many months so please dont make it sound like if we had listned to you we would have got out near the top a few weeks ago. Fact is if we had paid attention we would have missed a massive increase. All this emotive language again. I agree the situation is of concern but actually stock markets have done well in countries where the pandemic is bad | amt
29/1/2021 13:20 | Thanks for the update, andyj. Stay safe! | speedsgh
29/1/2021 12:48 | Cases now being confirmed in HCMC. I would not buy any at this point. My advice has been to sell several weeks ago, when VOF and the VNI was priced to assume the virus would never come here. From a personal perspective I hope it can be controlled, but it feels like we are at the tip of an iceberg. The health and economic implications could be catastrophic. I will keep the board informed...regardles | andyj
29/1/2021 11:56 | andyj - how many are you waiting to buy? | 31337 c0d3r
29/1/2021 08:31 | Latest update. https://vietnamnews. | andyj
29/1/2021 08:11 | But reason for discount reduction reflects international views of VN economic outlook so should hold imo | shaker44
29/1/2021 07:36 | Yes although short term the discount has got rather low so perhaps a little bit of downside before returning to the uptrend. | amt
29/1/2021 07:32 | Similar situation south of Bangkok for a few weeks now. Flood testing local factories and overcrowded migrant areas but largely contained. About 800 cases daily just now but mostly from testing in locked down areas. Vietnam likely to be similar or better as their covid management is far stronger. But may be another buying opportunity into VOF as before | shaker44
29/1/2021 06:47 | Can't find any storm clouds Andy. Anyone else found any storm clouds that none of us know about. On a different matter there have been several new cases of Coronavirus in Hanoi following on from yesterday's news. | amt
29/1/2021 02:21 | It's now below where I top sliced and if it falls much below 400 I will use some takeover proceeds to buy in, as a trade this time | shaker44
28/1/2021 23:54 | It seems you misunderstood the Crying Wolf tale. You keep posting your desperate drivel trying to prop up your failing investment, while I will keep posting government endorsed facts. The storm clouds that I alluded to are publicly available, but you need to lift your head from the Grimsby Gazette and find them. | andyj
28/1/2021 22:17 | Merryn Somerset Webb promotes Vietnam so I'm holding until she mentions otherwise | contact2fsnetcouk
28/1/2021 19:19 | Great posting andyj. So we are supposed to take your word that the stock market is going down big time at the end of the quarter for reasons that none of us know. Do tell. One day you will be correct but talk about crying Wolf, lol | amt
28/1/2021 16:40 | Good to see so many posters hoping to buy back in. | exotic
28/1/2021 13:58 | That is nothing more than hope. It has fallen 11% already. The real storm clouds will come at the end of this quarter for reasons none of you yet know, regardless of whether this latest outbreak is controlled. If the outbreak spreads then...troi oi. | andyj
28/1/2021 13:14 | I think the downside is limited to perhaps ten to fifteen percent, the discount got too small and needs to open up to ten to fifteen percent. | amt
28/1/2021 12:46 | The market is never interested in what has been, only in what is to come. | andyj
28/1/2021 12:44 | So sorry if the facts offend you. You really would prefer that reality does not intrude into your cosy little bubble eh? Everything I predicted would happen, is happening.Amt, ballooning is too emotive a word to describe a 4,100,000% increase that also represents the highest ever number of daily cases? | andyj
28/1/2021 11:08 | Thought he said goodbye. Can't keep away-when it's going down | shaker44
28/1/2021 09:25 | Known cases have ballooned from 2 to 84 in 24 hourshttps://tuoitre | andyj
28/1/2021 05:54 | More than 80 cases of UK strain now reported in FT and local press. There must have been a lot of testing done quickly. | middletp1
28/1/2021 04:33 | With their excellent track and trace and rigid quarantine they will soon contain this. | shaker44 |
