Vogs MO seems to be some jam tomorrow news followed by a placing... Only if you've been beaten by that stick enough you get wary of it

it also applies a little price pressure on ENEO. Less pressure on VOG to sell cheaply if they can get CNG off the ground in sufficiently large quantities to make it a difficult decision for VOG.

I can't see the Cam govt allowing VOG to export CNG whilst the locals suffer power outages due to non payment for the same gas.

but it is Africa.

"The Agreement with ENEO is a major gas supply contract for VOG in terms of scale and profitability with guaranteed minimum take or pay gas consumption at a fixed US$9/mmbtu over the 2 year contract term. The contract can be extended by mutual agreement. The take or pay element gives GDC the necessary incentives to allocate significant levels of gas to a single customer. The minimum take or pay levels are 9mmscf/d in the January-June dry season and 3mmscf/d in the July-December wet season. "





When VOG had the ENEO deal in place the take or pay minimum on the deal was 9 mmscf/d Jan-June and 3 mmscf/d July-dec at $7.5 mmbtu

Average therefore was 6 mmscf/d for the calendar year.

Now CNG is expected to fetch a price of $19-21 mmbtu.

So if VOG can do 2 mmscf/d CNG then that more or less equals the ENEO revenue.

This is how important CNG is to VOG and today's news is most welcome.

Need something to bounce the placing off. People are tired and wise to it by now though which doesn't give much hope for a decent placing price.

A most interesting move by VOG this morning as they announce an Exclusive Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) partnership with Naturelgaz to design, build and operate CNG infrastructure solutions for mobile customers. Initially in Cameroon but with plans to roll-out the concept into other African countries.

The partnership will market a variety of CNG products from bulk CNG and GTP to utility and business customers for off the grid and off pipeline solutions. There will also be a planned Auto CNG part of the business as Naturelgaz has a cooperation agreement with CNG vehicle producers. These plans should be an important part of VOG’s broadening of customer and product interface and should enable the company to monetise its substantial and dominant position in natural gas in Cameroon and eventually beyond.

Does any one have any questions that they want raised at the AGM?

Once we have a list of questions we need to decide who is going to ask each question as we need to be organized.

I think the Board will not allow one person to ask all the questions especially if they are hard and probing questions.

My question is:

Does VOG have to make a contribution towards the new JV announced today?

I think it is a bit of old news that has been recycled to make an article. Some work was done on improving governance last year but I am sure a lot more need to be done.
