Fitch Downgrades Victoria Plc's Rating Amid Weaker Earnings

(MT Newswires) -- Fitch Ratings on Thursday said it downgraded the long-term issuer default rating of Victoria (VCP.L) to B+ from BB-, with a stable outlook.

The rating action reflects the flooring company's weaker-than-expected EBITDA generation amid low demand as high inflation hits consumer purchasing power. Fitch expects overall demand to recover beginning in October, resulting in low single-digit revenue growth.

The stable outlook, meanwhile, is supported by Victoria's "adequate" leverage headroom and Fitch's expectation that the improvement in demand would drive higher margins for fiscal 2026.
