12/2/2022 00:13 | How do you know Chill? How do you know what pre-ordered samples are being produced for either private sector or government agencies? I've not seen an RNS stating either, so how do you know? How do you know what's to be delivered to customers in the coming weeks? I've not seen an RNS stating anything about products being delivered to customers in the coming weeks, nor have I seen an RNS confirming a contract for such products, so tell us again, HOW DO YOU KNOW? Either you're inside and you're breaking market rules by stating such things OR you're guessing and as such your credibility is worth diddly squat. So tell us, HOW DO YOU KNOW? | 1retirement
11/2/2022 22:51 | Presumably VRS is no longer involved? --------------- Winter Olympics: Questions need to be raised over Britain's skeleton performance, says Matt Weston [...] BBC commentator John Jackson, who won bobsleigh bronze in 2014, criticised the sleds used by the British team. "Something's not right," Weston told BBC Sport. "I think there are quite a few questions that need to be raised but equipment is definitely going to be one of them.[...] --------------- | supernumerary
11/2/2022 22:10 | Some people set themselves unrealistic expectations. With concrete it is going commercial right now. There are 2 strands to concrete. There is the bulk concrete side where they are working with the likes of Nationwide as well as at least one of the big multinational players- CEMEX and Tarmac have clear connections with VRS. 3D printing is the other line. This is new technology and now the new printer is operational they are now producing the pre-ordered samples that both the private sector and government agencies have been waiting for. Those products will be delivered to customers in the coming weeks and assuming all is ok they will they start to scale up volumes and presumably sign long term contracts. It is progressively happening. | chillpill
11/2/2022 20:54 | I presume from your reference to my post that i hit a nerve. And what is this presumption that all critics on here dont hold stock. I do. Not much. But it is the only stock ive held this last 12 months that is going to lose me money. So im annoyed. Annoyed at the inability of vrs to commercialise graphene. Annoyed at myself for being seduced. And annoyed at all the bull spouted on here. | kierculpa
11/2/2022 18:35 | Use in aquaculture. Sounds good. | rogerlin
11/2/2022 17:06 | Have you heard yourselves?It's rubbish this. | festario
11/2/2022 16:53 | If you ask me, the deal has already been. Ricketts probably signed the deal when hobnobbing on the government chartered flight to Asia a few years. No doubt he has received a golden handshake. I predict privatisation this year. | shammytime
11/2/2022 16:25 | you are not going to build HS2 with that machine | davemac3
11/2/2022 16:23 | on our way.... Graphene enhanced mortars and concrete are already a reality and the industrial scalability has become clearer and more achievable over the last 12 months. First prints of graphene enhanced 3d printed concrete structures completed using cementene Pictures of another 100m3 of graphene enhanced concrete going done, proving how easy to integrate into current supply chain. Contains polygrene recycled fibres and no steel. Industrial scalability comes from two aspects - the first is the ability to manufacture graphene to a repeatable required quality in volume and the second, to deliver it and dose and mix using existing (or slightly modified) site equipment. By optimising the process for volume and quality Versarien has designed and installed processes to deliver both graphene inks by simple addition through existing admixture pump systems as well as increasing production of GNPs in dry powder form for premixed and bagged product development. | jointer13
11/2/2022 16:17 | vrs ARE an r&d company. I presume the strategy is to generate IPs in order to attract a buyer. | kierculpa
11/2/2022 15:59 | Hello flatcoat, Maybe the product sold so far are not the same..Maybe. Maybe Neill 'excited and happy' with report for more new ideas it throws up. 5.Spin to advertise it in the shop window. | laginaneil
11/2/2022 15:37 | Spin to add to the shop window in the hope someone wants it as just like masks no one seems to be selling so this is the only hope. | dudhew
11/2/2022 15:19 | I don't think it can be patent related. As they have already sold product to a few shareholders. You cannot patent something once you have sold a single item.I got the impression from the podcast Neill was very happy excited and happy with the report so would be amazed if the results were inconclusive.I must admit initially I thought it was being delayed to coincide with product launch as that would make sense.Sadly this is starting to sound like the old Neill, doing lots of excited podcasts and announcements and then it just falls away hoping no-one notices another non delivery. | flatcoat1
11/2/2022 15:07 | That would also explain the government financing - are we the de-facto R&D branch of GCHQ? Could we in fact be taken over by HMG of the UK? | kemche
11/2/2022 15:03 | laginaneil11 Feb '22 - 14:26 - 131558 of 131559 0 0 0 flatcoat, Interesting why it's not published.. thoughts without being cynical please. 1. It led to items that need to be patented. 2. It pointed to more research needed - findings inconclusive. 3. It pointed to nothing very good. 4. It threw up new ideas that they wish to investigate and keep 'stum' about. others ?? We now know, as an irrefutable fact, even though the company has not expressly stated it, that the government must have "leant" on them and "persuaded" them to withdraw from China. Who is to say therefore that rather than a failure to deliver anything tangible to speak of it is precisely because of such pressure that the company has not produced anything at all. Maybe the government are concerned that the IP to produce bottles, seats, arches, telephone screens, vests, aeroplane wings etc could fall in the wrong hands to the detriment of the UK. Likewise, could the University of Gloucester too have been so "persuaded" to pull the report? Intriguing certainly I think you will agree. Curiouser and curiouser! | kemche
11/2/2022 14:43 | Hello Dudhew, 5 Spin for spin's sake. 6 Sales, marketing, media 'splurge' for apparel new products - Superdry? | laginaneil
11/2/2022 14:36 | My first thought is it was more spin but since announcing priority to commercialise textiles and concrete then perhaps the results are sensitive and will be part of any sales push when products are rolled out. | dudhew

11/2/2022 14:03 | To be fair they have published their white papers. Is this one in a glossy cover keeping it super dry? | fireball xl5
11/2/2022 13:24 | Steady on, that would require quite a cultural change! Be nice though. | dudhew
11/2/2022 13:19 | Wouldn't it be great if that report by university of Gloucestershire, to know the one completed 8 mths ago, actually got published highlighting benefits of graphene in textiles..... | flatcoat1 |
