I know what you mean and it depends which angle you look at it from.

My negativity was towards the crooks out there that use false hype and media outlets, mates or brown envelopes etc to push out false exciting news so they can exit. They do it the other way too.

I've seen it on a few shares. I have one looking more like a fraud as time goes on and known dodgy guys tip it probably because they were paid to do it or are stuck with a position.

The market and various fund managers are in many cases simply lying deceitful crooks making a buck any way they can and they won't let rules, regs or the law get in the way of that. Decades of complacency allows them to get away with it.

Let's hope in the future a few well known names get caught out and their ivory towers become dust.

Do you think it's been falling because people have been mistaking it for the rubbish Jean-Luc Besson movie Valerian? You know, like Cerillion and Carillion?

Each to their own and of no consequence in the long run.

Nor me, SG is anything but VRS negative. Sounds like paranoia ;)

If two people see differently from another angle, what I "thought" I saw, it means I was wrong.
Hands up, I therefore withdraw all what I said and my apologies to superg1.

Fuji99, not sure what you're reading but I'm not picking up a negative vibe from superg at all

fuji, I think you are misunderstanding Super's posts. I can assure you that you won't find someone who better understands and appreciates just how good a company VRS is.

Superg - Are you talking about VRS or another unnamed company ?
You are confusing sensitive people and weak holders and you are dropping drops of uncertainty here and there - I would say poison - , turning around things, always "implying" something negative and in all of this, your common denominator is gloom to specifically target VRS indirectly. Maybe I may be wrong or maybe I don't understand your style of writing.

I can add one thing: There is guy - Chameleon type - who is playing with fire. I am sure when he will be hit, he will lose even his shirt. Back to more interesting things now and leave time to work for VRS and us.

The story here is exactly that but TBH we don't give it enough credit as will been seen when time moves on.

There is enough rumoured to blow this out of the water but as the rumours have credibility they stay tight (keep this city boys in the dark) as no one would want to disrupt potential outcomes. Rumours well beyond the lying hype some dodgy folk put through the media like the evening standard etc on veracious shares.

Best served cold etc and share price reacting to news rather then chasing it. :-)

Your usual good point Super. What I find remarkable, with 4 trading days before Christmas, is that any one is selling!! The probability of bad news seems to be very low and the possibility of good news before Christmas, possibly very good news, is quite high! Unless these people are on margin call, their risk management techniques seem questionable, even if they did buy at circa 13p!

Don't believe any story you read in boards because it is infested by all sorts of dodgy people but the reality for VRS is this: All its products are backed by sound and profesionnal research from two universities: Cambridge, which is the 2017 No. 4 in the world and Manchester where the Nobel Price winner in this graphene area is from. So IMHO, the story tellers are for the kids.

It feels really quite odd owning a relatively large amount of shares in a company, seeing the share price drop and not being in the slightest bit worried...

My friend was involved in a US company that was waiting for a final signature of a deal for over £100 mill. Some dirty tricks by a rival meant they lost the contract, however along the negotiations route the customer was unaware their tech was unproven. The hope was they could get the fixes sorted in the time between contract signed and the time period between then and full construction, it was a big tech project.

So lies by the competitor not not the whole truth form the US supplier either.

The way VRS operate is proven tech, it will work, do you want it.

My only concern here is one of a brilliant CEO who uses twitter too much and builds pressure on himself which ultimately can lead to rushed and perhaps bad decision making.

That's a reason why I invested because they don't do that and make decisions instead of fannying around.

Many businesses suffer badly simply down to not making a decisions and it's one of the biggest reasons listed for failure of businesses.

They won't make decisions to impress they make decisions that through research they think will be good for the business and make money.

Frustrating knowing that there are collaborations that need a signature, it could be this week but if not we should have a very nice start to 2018.

Times have changed when the leader of the free world conducts his business via social media. However, NR is not breaking any promises - he's always maintained that he can't control the timing of the announcements sausage machine.

The story here is the best I have ever seen in 40 years of investing. There is usually something I have overlooked which comes back to bite me.
My only concern here is one of a brilliant CEO who uses twitter too much and builds pressure on himself which ultimately can lead to rushed and perhaps bad decision making.
The more this company grows the bigger the danger. As the company grows the behaviour of senior staff has to grow with it and long term investors will understand that.

No idea

If they get a final signature this week for the any one of the companies stacked up then yes.

Beyond their control but obviously they are stacked up.
