I have a feeling that with Neill back on twitter then something wonderful is happening at VRS with all those collabs! Why else would he face the likes of TK et al.

Funny how those with a personal beef with SG like to blame him for everything. In fact if I recall, he highlighted IOF to many in the low teens which subsequently rose to £2.30 and again highlighted VRS at 10p which subsequently rose to £1.80. Yes we know they have fallen since but what PIs do during that rise and afterwards is down to them not SG1. Some people need to take a bit more personal responsibility for their investment rather than blaming others. Keep up the great work SG1 :-)

It has, by common consent, been a very bad week for the markets. Into this maelstrom the new Nomad & P.R. Co. put out an R N.S. that counselled caution where once there was unalloyed optimism. This spooked many investors less than securely manacled to their V.R.S. shares. We are down 30% but Tesla are down 20% to put it into some perspective. However, this week also presaged a new dawn for the Co., one in which forecasts are for Michael Fish, not N.R. "Underpromise, overperform" seems to be the new affirmation at Versarien. Evergreen has pointed out that we are soon surely to be entering the Slope of Enlightenment phase.I would hope that we are approaching Polygrene pastures,The Forest of Nanenia...Nurse, I need my meds.....

I'm sure it is its prerogative as a small company to choose a cheaper supplier if it gives the best cost/benefit analysis for its own end product.I'm sure the onus is on the Co. to let us know if the collab. is over. We shall no doubt be informed in due course. It is a question of semantics surely to imply a collab. has failed if the product worked better than the rival one but was more expensive. This we do not know of course.

BP Polymers does look tiny and insignificant. Point is that Patrick reports they have moved away from VRS to another supplier. Two issues with this a) why use another supply when Nanene is supposed to be far superior b) how does this fit with no collaborations have failed ?

Assuming Patrick is not lying, he may be, then surely this calls into question the status of many of the other collaborators?

--------

In ref. to L.L.'s reference to B.P. Polymers purchasing from another graphene supplier Stateside:
It wasn't too long ago that L.L. was saying that the collaboration with B.P. was serendipitously formed as the Co. rented Regus office space in the same building as Versarien. It was another frothy collab. with a tiny Co. was his implication... just more ballast in N.R.'s insatiable appetite for putting out meaningless R.N.S.'s.
Now, however, we should pivot our whole perception of the international marketplace in graphene because of one alleged decision by an allegedly tiny Co. which in any case was purely a flimsy and Machiavellian conceit in the first place.

Any rational assessment of the potential for VRS based upon its USP and considerable multiple diversified competitive advantages (Prof Porter : The Journal of Business Strategy; Cambridge Vol. 5, Iss. 3, (Winter 1985): 60.) measured against the profound need and widespread demand for disruptive change in historic unsustainable market paradigms strongly indicates that VRS holds an unrivaled opportunity to become established as the world lead in the provision of High Quality Graphene.

Aided by the fact that they have uniquely secured certification of the highest credibility for the commercial scale production of High Quality GNPs, together with continued Governmental support, direct engagement by the GEIC and the Graphene Nobel Laureate VRS have been able to establish working relationships with National Governments and global corporations seeking to secure the multiple functional advantages of HQ GNPs across multiple product ranges and market segments.

As a technological disruptor (Prof Christensen MBA PPhil.Harvard Business School: Disruptive innovation 1997) VRS have met and overcome the challenges of the introductory phases of development and now stand in an unrivaled position to optimise the opportunities inherent in the inevitable transition to the new enhanced sustainable technologies that will subsume the legacy inefficient and environmentally unsustainable technologies of the past.

The rapidity of growth and ultimate scale achievable as the world leader in this new market has been optimised by the corporate strategy adopted by VRS.

The strategy frees the company from the normal barriers to entry and impediments to growth through its collaborations with national governments and global corporations who will fund the establishment costs and establish the distribution channels with VRS IP high in the supply chain.

In addition to ensuring rapid post commercial development this strategy also creates a long term embedded position that is highly defensible against competitor erosion.

The prospects for investors gaining entry to a shareholding at this stage where the potential downside is exceptionally small measured against the significant scale of the upside makes this moment comparable with initial entry to the worlds current highest value holdings which had themselves once been the technological disrupters of the preceding two decades.

The need to undergo extensive testing for each application to determine the best methodology of incorporation, characteristic of the GNPs to be incorporated and of the ratio of incorporation in order to deliver the optimum outcome has introduced the unavoidable lag between the initial expectation hype and the inception of actual commercialisation. (Gartners Hype Cycle :2017)

We have now passed the nadir of Gartner’s “Trough of Disillusionment̶1; and have entered the “Rising slope of Enlightenment” where only the most tenacious of original investors will remain.

Once investors see that VRS has started to deliver actual sales and has secured a sustainable position VRS will start its journey to becoming one of the most sought after holdings.

With each incremental increase in revenue the Market Cap and the share price will profoundly and rapidly rise as the potential scale of the VRS proposition becomes apparent to the wider investment community.

All evidence suggests that the moment of take off is now within sight.

Rarely do so many of the influential factors that determine commercial success converge to produce the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet etc.

Those multiple convergences exist for VRS which has the potential to join and ultimately match the values of this elite list due the the scale and scope of application of its unique product offering that will facilitate enhancement of every market sector from medicine to construction on a Global basis with little prospect of usurpation.

It would not be unrealistic to expect that as VRS moves from its pre-commercial phase towards maturity the share price will rise to 100s of times the current pre-commercial value.

There may well be other opportunities with similar potential and there may well be other disruptive technologies that will dramatically change the world and the future to the same extent as high Quality Graphene but I am certainly don’t know of one.

From an investors perspective this moment, with the share price at such a low, is unlikely ever to be surpassed as the single greatest opportunity for significant wealth creation.

As always DYOR and GLALTH

So without wanting to appear a lout, the share price movement over the last 72 hours whilst the rest of the market has been tanking is interesting. Essentially no movement. Now I appreciate I will make no friends here with a 45p ave have bought very recently but watched for 3 years(I do feel higher share price investors pain), but the bears are losing this one.

When will corona virus influence end? Who knows, but there is nothing wrong here as far as I can see. Whatever tue outcome of corona innovative companies will thrive.

You pays you money and takes your choice. Buy low sell high!

Roger,

The 20,000 bottle test must be for Unilever - their Strategic Science Group (Advanced Materials) moved from Netherlands (Vlaardingen) to Colworth, and the time of that move fits exactly.

In the Interims, they listed both RNS that (I think) related to the same Unilever deal 17Nov2017 RNS: "Following initial blow moulding test results, the project was subject to some delay due to customer R&D moving from Europe to the UK. The parties are now engaged in commercial discussions to evaluate cost-benefit value."

May 2018 RNS: "Further phases of tests are now on-going, which features new product design and use different bio-polymers."

Tues RNS: "Consumer goods collaboration for polymer structures in plastics - Following the announcement made on 29 May 2018, after laboratory testing and optimisation of the graphene parameters, the next stage of this collaboration is to field test a pilot run of up to 20,000 bottles.
