29/8/2017 13:10 | re the Stratclyde pension fund. Those were fed through Henderson which is the old holder of the recent rns (fund name changed). I'm on my phone and will hunt for other docs later, but.... As of Q3 2016 the pension fund had around 16.9 million Versarien shares. So you can deduct those from the fund holding. The fund was simply used to acquire the shares for the pension fund. I know as I checked why the pension fund is not shown as a notifiable holder. More are held by someone else via Henderson, I'll check who later. | superg1
29/8/2017 13:09 | Will ping very soon, imho | john henry
29/8/2017 13:09 | 300k buys against 3k sells | john henry
29/8/2017 13:04 | Yes but not that many sold below 14.75 so they will not want to sell at a loss ? | warwick69
29/8/2017 13:00 | Warwick The MMs must be loaded up from the weakness. As you know the way it works is if they have plenty they will be on the offer, if not on the bid. Wins and Peel tend to be the majors here and I have seen each accumulate 500k shares and higher at times. Others often go to about 150k then flip to the offer. So with the weakness there could be a few stacked up from that. | superg1
29/8/2017 12:37 | There was about 250-300k you didn't buy Friday Warwick. | john henry
29/8/2017 12:35 | Another 30k today. | john henry
29/8/2017 12:35 | I bought 100k Friday. | john henry
29/8/2017 12:35 | Definitely Warwick, once finished PEEL will move from the offer. Looking Positive. | john henry
29/8/2017 12:33 | Must be some sort of sell order being worked here ?? | warwick69
29/8/2017 12:07 | I did buy most but buying not me today | warwick69
29/8/2017 11:55 | Errr... Warwick? | festario
29/8/2017 11:53 | L2 strengthening | john henry
29/8/2017 11:42 | Fesrario not it wasn't | john henry
29/8/2017 10:41 | ashtree. I did ask some questions. That fund genearally goes big on AIMs as can be seen on a few shares. Once you go beyond 20% the 30% limit looms and reduces your options so you need future wriggle room. That said the holding is split 3 ways with a large amount with the Strathclyde pension fund. Details of the split are on the web if you look. So while the fund holding seems high the actual fund holding is just a portion of the entire amount. | superg1
29/8/2017 09:45 | Yes, John Henry, but don't you read this board? All that buying was by ONE guy on here! | festario
29/8/2017 09:32 | Festario buying volume picked up quite noticeable on Friday. Market soon to exit the summer lull. | john henry
29/8/2017 09:26 | The volume is so low, and has been for months, that no such conclusions can be drawn. | festario
29/8/2017 08:52 | Ashtree would appear buyers are slowly taking control. Friday's candle showed a nice reversal at a support pivot point. If buyers continue to nibble share price should begin trending up having established a LT higher low. | john henry
29/8/2017 08:52 | Eh? No one is selling, or buying?? | festario
29/8/2017 08:47 | Been looking at this one, tempted to buy but there is someone or institution selling which wont help the price recover.any advice superg1 | ashtree2
28/8/2017 21:21 | Then this The CEO mentioned flexible electronics in the Vox interview Abstract In this study, we demonstrate scalable and efficient inkjet printing of graphene flexible transparent conducting films (TCFs). The highly concentrated and stable graphene ink (3.2 mg/mL) that is dominated by 4-layer graphene flakes is achieved by means of shear exfoliation process. The printed graphene TCFs with DC conductivity of ∼4 × 104 S/m (sheet resistance 260 Ω/□ coupled with optical transparency of 86%) without intentional doping are readily obtained. Excellent flexibility and air stability of the printed graphene TCFs allow their potential applications in different flexible opto-electronics devices. Systematic investigation of the inkjet printing of graphene and the annealing effect on the graphene TCFs is presented. | superg1
28/8/2017 21:15 | I thought I'd go on the hunt for graphene silicon batteries at Cambridge and came across this for graphene ink and solar cells. Abstract We present a stable inkjet printable graphene ink, formulated in isopropyl alcohol via liquid phase exfoliation of chemically pristine graphite with a polymer stabilizer. The rheology and low deposition temperature of the ink allow uniform printing. We use the graphene ink to fabricate counter electrodes (CE) for natural and ruthenium-based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The repeatability of the printing process for the CEs is demonstrated through an array of inkjet-printed graphene electrodes, with ∼5% standard deviation in the sheet resistance. As photosensitizers, we investigate natural tropical dye extracts from Pennisetum glaucum, Hibiscus sabdariffa and Caesalpinia pulcherrima. Among the three natural dyes, we find extracts from C. pulcherrima exhibit the best performance, with ∼0.9% conversion efficiency using a printed graphene CE and a comparable ∼1.1% efficiency using a platinum (Pt) CE. When used with N719 dye, the inkjet-printed graphene CE shows a ∼3.0% conversion efficiency, compared to ∼4.4% obtained using Pt CEs. Our results show that inkjet printable graphene inks, without any chemical functionalization, offers a flexible and scalable fabrication route, with a material cost of only ∼2.7% of the equivalent solution processed Pt-based electrodes. | superg1
28/8/2017 20:48 | BTW The graphene flagship managers/directors (3 listed) include Prof Ferrari who through the VRS Cambridge graphene acquisition is probably a VRS shareholder as the ink was his baby. | superg1
28/8/2017 20:40 | Voted down for digging post holes on a hot day. I entirely agree it's stupid thing to do. | superg1 |
