15/8/2017 08:06 | No what I mean is trading shares off market. Example x owns 1 million shares in xyz and he has difficulty selling them with the market makers, someone else does the deal off market to buy the shares. The market makers still involved but they avoid being placed before the public. | simon templar qc
15/8/2017 05:55 | On what company? I assume you mean allegations if so I mean companies and nomads deliberately misleading the market with evidence to back it up. I didn't know until the PRG and African Potash case that they are the first of their type (going by comments) which rather explains why the market is full of lying fraudsters. Not just here I had a spat with a company on the TSX warning investors in that one and sure enough it went bust. I don't hunt as such it just happens when a I may be checking out a company in a sector I'm looking at. There are others on the AIM where I have found misleading info but some that know me won't know I was pointing ou things there too. Been doing it for a few years but have switched tack now prompted by the PRG case. Pointless being active on the BB and the only way to find out if the market is regulated well is to go behind the scenes. | superg1
14/8/2017 21:21 | As a matter of interest are you looking into trades off market? The reason I am saying this is they could be seen to be illegal and shares not been traded fairly. I am talking about any company you have been invested in. Its happened in a company I have been invested in and being investigated as a fraud. | simon templar qc
14/8/2017 21:13 | BTW guys though you may not know it you have all been told about around 10+ chatting to VRS. That excludes a few that were on the Cambridge list. It's plurals on phone companies, chemical companies, steel companies, Aerospace, Defence, Auto, it's a long list. Mad really that the leading graphene company on the AIM in terms of capability, expertise and interest has a relatively low share price to others. If anyone makes rhe grade on the AIM in graphene then it's going to be VRS. If funds have money in some where the tech doesn't work then tough they should have done their DD. | superg1
14/8/2017 20:49 | Hmmmmm Severn Long time no see and you when you do appear the crystal ball seems to be up to date. BTW guys I see Prieto seem to be making progress on that battery. The battery has copper foam in it. I dug out that info long before graphene arrived. | superg1
14/8/2017 20:46 | Hey Superg1 Is he on the Continental? | severnof9
14/8/2017 20:35 | I see the CEO is now in Germany burning more rubber. | superg1
14/8/2017 10:23 | From the last tweets I take it there is textile and super capacitor interest but I know that anyway from the names. Watch out for a new one in the next day or two. You guys should do some research. | superg1
14/8/2017 10:13 | Not about keeping the faith imo. They are falling over big names for dozens of different aspects. It seems inevitable that big names and in some cases entirely new and exciting concepts will appear. I get some waiting for clarity I advise that on many shares. For me there is no need as I have done a lot of homework. I know some graphene companies are simply making false claims. Some try to call graphite which is proven not to work graphene. That's why under 10 layer is key. Lucky Interesting that you mention nano. The average size there is 300nm on the lateral as I recall. Such lateral size is of no use for strength enhancement as declared by some and science papers. Some have gold but most have fools gold. Part of the issue is the ends users (not all of them) don't know the difference yet. One very large Asia electronics company does they have happily dismissed at least one that claims the world lead. They have been there done that and got the T shirt. They are now engaged with VRS as are many more. VRS has the product and proof, that's why they are inundated with enquiries. It seems highky likely that one or more bigs names will sign deals or the like. Another such name should become appareny shortly. | superg1
14/8/2017 09:05 | This quiet period reminds me so much of the doldrums experienced by investors in IQE a year ago. Their technology was looking wonderful for those who bothered to do their own research, and we kept the faith while the market ignored the progress being made in the design and manufacture of high tech wafers for semiconductors. The share price had dribbled down from the 40s to the low teens. Then with a positive trading statement and rumours of involvement with the Apple iPhone8, the market began to wake up, and condescending articles about 'Welsh Wizards' began to appear. The share price is now winding up through the 130p range, with Peel Hunt already talking about £3. It could happen here - keep the faith | shavian
14/8/2017 00:37 | Good to see some price clarity on graphene, Price from £840 +VAT in EU (10g) (for 2-10 layer) Cheaper for quantity I guess? | luckyorange
13/8/2017 22:15 | Speaking of Huawei, they are apparently launching their mate 10 with the graphene battery this autumn, bit pricey though ! | luckyorange
13/8/2017 21:52 | It's their graphene bike (from F1 tech they say?) very light . | luckyorange
13/8/2017 17:08 | Pleased to hear that SG, the correct pronunciation is very important to our Chinese friends. | rogerbridge
12/8/2017 09:28 | The point of the prior post. Some go on about sales and I hope the last post tells then what goes on before they get to sales. Some sales may come as some companies will want to just buy some and try it. However it seems to me most want to work via NDAs and that's highly likely because VRS have the product and the depth of expertise which reaches deep into the NGI, UOM and Cambridge. Companies know they are dealing with a genuine company with a genuine product and backed by the world leads in graphene who also happen to be shareholders. Hence it's often a longer drag as the connection goes much deeper than 'How much is a kg, I can getting for $50 in Swaziland" So if you are waiting for sales as a trigger then such news may well come, but the real picture is far deeper and much bigger if it evolves. It could evolve on many fronts. This is NEW technology and as a result NEW answers will be found. Sometimes individual finds would be enough to create an entire company out of that one find. As said it seems there are fixes for things that I didn't even know existed. So when you get the market muppets scoffing at graphene they really are clueless. I hope in the fullness of time some things appear as news in the graphene world. We all saw what happened with the BBC and graphene membranes which is years off. That news was because Manchester had managed to finally stop expansion which had been an issue. Literally test tube type lab tests and a breakthrough. Such graphene membranes will be 5- 10 years off or more. When/If VRS realise news on major things it won't be lab in many cases Imo but further down the line. So I suggest some stop moaning and groaning if they are serious investors and do some research. I check what VRS say and have identified dozens or large names connected to them. So what they say in news on that as far as I'm concerned is correct and often under-played. Why? NDAs in the eye of the CEO carry no value. Oh and BTW twitter isn't about letting investors know, you have to think outside the box there and paranoia. One already has and found something very interesting. However like me they are very careful about what they find. On paper it sounds pretty damn amazing and if it such things ever became reality then I'll be interested to see what happens. | superg1
12/8/2017 09:13 | BTW On the big names. VRS have repeatedly put in news that they are talking to a large number of companies which include many large blue chip companies. As we know they are in NDAs in with over 100 again many very large. So whoever goes to the Aim ask the CEO. He will tell you as he has told me. An NDA carries no value in itself. It's a legal document of confidentiality under which each involved then shares information under that cloak. An NDA doesn't come first basic talks first. Talks are the first part where a company asking may find that graphene ha the potential to fix what they want. Then those talks move to an NDA. In the NDA the problem, new product, fix/gain etc are discussed. That may move onto tests on a particular product to show if theory turns into reality. Then if you get a hit on something that works try some tweaking to make it even better. That can go on for months. Having seem it works then the metric on costs will be worked on either then or earlier. There is no point going further if the costs matrix blocks the eventual product due to costs. A cost matrix will include the level of demand expected and scaled up versions of graphene production with lower costs. It may be that a license deal depending on the demand and location of prodcution The result of that could be a del, JV, MOU. The difference with VRS and others as I see it is that they are not naming these companies in news. Others name them very early on which creates hype. So in theory by the time we get to any news with a big name (if such news comes) then it will be a lot further down the line than your average news for an AIM company. Just like on Nanene. They didn't day much about it until they could prove it worked. On paper it was fab but they wanted proof of performance. I repeat the CEO is an engineer well versed in theory v actual performance. Some seem to think big names know about graphene and what it can do. Some have no clue at all and that's why they come to companies like VRS. Even those claiming to do graphene will be in NDAs with some graphene companies because they want to know if graphene company X has the fix they need better than what they have in theory. Many forget companies like VRS are years ahed of new arrivals. The trail to Nanene started something like 7 years ago in Ulster. The find, the transfer with help via the UOM then vis 2Dtech which when it was known to work was picked up by VRS. VRS then set about enhancing it and running tests with the UOM. | superg1
12/8/2017 08:40 | Nice to see Neil at J.M could be a catalyst for future growth! | rogerbridge
11/8/2017 22:26 | "They suspected I was an invesrigative journalist." As I said last night you should be an invesrigative journalist (whatever they are LOL!) Only teasing sg1, I know that you can type faster than I can think, an odd typo is nothing. | sandbag
11/8/2017 21:24 | Can't be A Game who posts on here can it? Don't tell him your name Pike | luckyorange |
