20/6/2018 09:34 | tini5, there is always something better to do, whatever your age ;) | richardc77
20/6/2018 09:30 | "richard: I presume most of those posting frequently are boring old farts like me who are retired and have little better to do (hmmmm ?)." Some of us are just boring farts (not old) and stuck behind desks in soul destroying jobs and dreaming of a total change of direction on the back of life changing investments ;-) | tini5
20/6/2018 09:30 | Maybe it will close that gap at 106, 107.5 over next couple of days? | laginaneil
20/6/2018 09:28 | Superg no other avatars, I bought in at 1.35 and if you read what I've actually said/asked it should be clear that I simply have questions, it is not healthy to let rampers run wild and barrate anyone with questions about the company, simply because yiu don't like the idea of your share being questioned. | wjgdg
20/6/2018 09:27 | Its just an opinion but I think some are unrelentingly focused on China. This is merely a disappointment drop.I think at this price China isn't in the price even. The risk to the deal might be Tory chaos, I'd like to see it done NOW. Today a vote. | alchemy
20/6/2018 09:24 | richard: I presume most of those posting frequently are boring old farts like me who are retired and have little better to do (hmmmm ?). How do I know that 'cus the majority of ID attenders were ... er ... like me. Best wishes - spike | spike_1
20/6/2018 09:24 | easy up, easy down 114 down 8p | cielos
20/6/2018 09:23 | Superg if you'll indulge me one more time..if I can't find links of this now. Perhaps former rumours re. Nike are not relevant now? Due to lack of interest or disagreement over contracts. The most exciting deal in the pipeline has to be China related, with NR actually confirming talks recently | wjgdg
20/6/2018 09:23 | Richard I agree. Posters like wj are useful as they flush out the chancers we may have picked up on the share price hike. A cycle of some in that have no clue what they are invested in or what graphene is. For all I know wj could be a price spike chaser too. I'm not falling for the recent registration on ADVFN bit just to post here. wj do you have any other avatars on here? | superg1
20/6/2018 09:22 | SG - To be in breach of the insider rules you have to be in possession of any privileged potentially price sensitive information not in the public domain. FCA doesn't make any allowance for anyone who is made an insider accidentally - e.g. a director just tells you without realising what they are doing. Anyone who does their own digging around online, reading journals, turning up to AGMs, using this thread etc. and drawing their own conclusions to act upon is fine. What VRS put on Twitter is their responsibility not of those who read it. Inside info doesn't have to be a signed deal as it could be knowledge of a company's planned change of strategy, a new product, a large order, management change etc. IIs and large investors are nearly always asked if they are prepared to be made insiders when being sounded out for fund raising or merger plans, which obviously precludes them from trading, but they do have the option of saying no to being inside. This is often assumed to be the main source of leaks but I am told on good authority the largest source of leaked info by a country mile is PR firms, so if any of you work for companies which have any announcements coming up, only tell the PR once no damage can be done!! CEOs are quite restricted about sitting on news that needs to be announced but that is usually the Nomad's call. | lovat scout
20/6/2018 09:22 | sizzle....sizzle.... | dreamtwister
20/6/2018 09:22 | richardc - we're a bunch of sad losers with nothing else going on in our lives. Or is it just me? ;-) | club sandwich
20/6/2018 09:18 | I cannot believe how frequently some of you guys look at the SP, how can you be bothered and why put yourself being so fraught every day there is no news or the share price falls? Nuts all hazelnuts....;) | richardc77
20/6/2018 09:18 | Re inov-8 trainer Rid. See my post. 17315 links there inc research paper. As a layman, i see it says 'monolayers' of graphene oxide well dispersed; which probably means 'many' and therefore unlikely to meet proposed iso standard. Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
20/6/2018 09:18 | wj That's because you are way way behind on research and don't attend investor events. Take DOW, it's definitely DOW check the RNS, it can't be anyone else due to the details in the news. | superg1
20/6/2018 09:17 | gap filled | adejuk
20/6/2018 09:16 | VRS have a lead at the moment and have many other materials in the pipeline. Competition will eventually come from elsewhere. There will be enough demand for our high quality products. The number of applications is mind boggling. What we need is the ISO standard. | rogerbridge
20/6/2018 09:13 | BTW Some selling is the good old traders adding IG shorts. So if NR is sat with pen poised for the next RNS then now would be a good time. I learned long ago not to taunt those on the high ground with a big advantage over you. I've also learned they do no research as they are not posting the negative things I've found on some other shares they trash. Easy stuff to find really but they clearly do no research. The same goes re positive stuff out there re this one. . | superg1
20/6/2018 09:10 | The belief is that graphene will become commoditised at some point in the future, NR knows this and replied “Hold that thought” to someone who mentioned this on Twitter, presumably this is factored into his plan. Also we have to understand that VRS and NR do not have exclusive access to the NGI and GEIC, there will be competition. This adds up to the fact there is a window of opportunity to be exploited, NR knows this, he said as much back at the ID in March. We still need ISO and to move forward to more commercial oppprtunities. The potential is enormous, now we need some of that potential to be realised. | johnveals
20/6/2018 09:10 | Superg had a look around and don't see links with Nike, much less rumoured deals/ products | wjgdg
20/6/2018 09:08 | A big clue did appear, I think via an AD presentation somewhere. 1.5 to 2 times stronger, I'd be thinking towards the upper end of that. The web is useful. | superg1
20/6/2018 09:07 | I was busy doing some atrdimng on shares that are jumping around. Usual retail stuff here. Only 50% improvement eh :-) BTW A guy did respond from the UOM re Innov8 and he didn't know whose graphene was in it, but at 50% perhaps someone elses then. :-) I'm not sure Innov8 are quite as big as Nike. | superg1
20/6/2018 09:05 | Looks like some happy with their proft and moving on and others still accumulating | joeblogg2 |
