And another buyer comes in with an increased holding.
Sign of future action on the M&A front?
Fellner ALWAYS a consummate deal maker!

Fly?
Everythings relative, but any re-awakening of interest in Vernalis as a growth company would be welcomed.
Certainly the basis for a successful portfolio is there- but I'm not sure I will be around to see the full benefit.

The incresed holdings announced Friday could be the first shoots of interest showing through.

sic gloria transit British Biotech!

ref 1211, just found the following paper:

Results of trial for Frova plus Dexketoprofen for PMS migraine- perhaps this is where the fight back from the previous FDA dissappointment begins!

Another (small) brick in the wall with the trial for V81444- interestingly the trial is on volunteer patients with existing symptoms.
Proof of concept by year end?

Wonder if today's announcement indicates there may be some extended life or extension of scope for Frova?
Shame it never took off for PMT!
Dexketoprofen is made by Menarini so presumably they have identified the combination with Frova as a promising area.
Licensed throughout the world so approvals not needed.
This might help penetration into the US?

Good report - re-building of the company continues apace.
Transformational year on the way both on licenced products and potential pipeline.
Keep the faith, maybe British Biotech can rise from the ashes!

even with good news this still stagnates at a low price. Its going to take years to get this past £1.

4screws - the real question is - why is it doing so well just now ?
jarbie

4screws - the price is low because it reflects the team performance
since inception 9 years ago and before that in the name of British Biotech
when unwarranted claims were made for the progress at that time.
Look now at the works in progress and tell me what inspires you.
If it was not for the consolidation the share price would be a fraction of a penny.
One four hundredth of a price now, two one twentieth consolidations.
If it was not for the RIs the company would have gone bust long before now.
We have just reversed into AIM - not the right direction I fear.
What else can we say - plenty, but that would be a waste of time.

leading ladies you sure have...I cannot for the life of me work out why the price is so low and it certainly does not fill me with confidence going forward.

Agree completely with last 2 postings. Only argument for I can think of is akin to share save schemes option price set 20% below share price at the time. Other thing to bear in my is we are talking about 45k of shares. If price didn't change would be hardly worth it. Mind you if it went up £1 would it still be worth it for those highly paid Directors ?? Just talked myself out of that argument !
