chawkers: Even at 2p I can't see there being much demand for a CR from investors. VDTK have burnt too many bridges with investors over the last 12 months.
chawkers: For anybody contemplating taking a punt on VDTK at current bombed out levels I would advise doing your research first and asking the following getmane questions: 1) Who are the founders and BOD of VDTK and what (if any) experience do they have of solar panel production? 2) Why was VDTK originally establushed (as Greenflex) in San Marino and what (if any) connection did this have to evading EU import tariffs? 3) Does VDTK have any patented IP? 4) Listen to major shareholder Paul Harrison's ( ex CEO of Strategic Minerals 2012-14...) vimeo interview and forecasts in June 2020 and correlate with what has subsequently transpired 5) Check out the background of major shareholder Paul Celaschi (ex UBS trader) who sold VDTK stock in Oct 2020 - convicted of betting irregularities by the Jockey Club in 2013 6) Check out the RNS from VDTK's IPO in Aug 2017 to present and correlate with reported revenues 7) Check out predictions & subsequent achievements by CEO Rob Richards since his appointment as CEO in May 2020. 8) Examine VDTK's balance sheet and cash burn. 9) Check out VDTK's website and Twitter feed over the last 12 months and compare to competitors (Solbian/Sunpower). 10) Check out the website of Zero Watts Homes International and the prospective connection with VDTK. If after doing your due diligence, you believe VDTK is a great investment, good luck. But if things don't work out and VDTK are forced into yet another dilutive cash raise which may or may not be successful, then you have nobody to blame but yourself if things don't pan out. Of course, it's perfectly possible that VDTK may extract a rabbit from the hat before they runs out of cash in the next few months and that Cov19 vaccines enable 'normal business' to resume and delayed contracts to be sealed. However, the past 4 years suggest this is an unlikely scenario. Caveat emptor as the old saying goes!Setting up a new business is never easy. Success is never guaranteed even with stellar management, patent protected products ( aka a MOAT) and cash rich investors with deep pockets who can afford to keep the business afloat during troubled times. In the immortal words of Baldrick, all that is needed now is a cunning plan by the CEO and all will be well!
astralvision: I do t know if you took part in the placing dubois. We were lied to plain and simple, add deception in as well. There's absolutely no doubt about it. I'm in contact with other investors who took part in the placing and they can verify that.If a business doesn't pan out, too bad, we all know the risks when we invest. But when there is lies and deception on a large scale, now that's a different matter entirely.
volsung: Why should we show loyalty to a company which seems to have mislead its investors
astralvision: I think it might be! Be interesting to see the paper trail re the SAF deal, the placing, the eventual disclosure to investors that SAF was 'delayed' and that no payments at all had been received. If I was those Unicorn guys I'd be wanting all that documentation.Fraud is certainly an offence!
32campomar: Yes but we know Australia is a huge Market. We were told it was a huge market 12 months ago in one presentation that was clearly hugely misleading to potential investors! Can't remember the guys name. Anyway, they have sold nothing in that time - sorry one tiny 75KW contract which we are now told has also been delayed from last summer! It's a shambles really.
astralvision: True Vatna. But it went beyond heads in the sand and into deliberate deception. That is a definite. And that is their MO.I thought RR was straight, but he isn't.Same as the rest of them. They deliberately deceived investors to get the placing away. Inexcusable.
astralvision: Has anyone had any contact with RR recently?Has he gone to ground or is he still ringing back investors?
cyberbub: Sorry for LTHs here. Glad I got out yesterday - a lucky escape at a 25% loss. I just didn't like the way it smelled, with the management talking bullsh*t and keeping investors like mushrooms. On the + side, I think there is clearly a real and viable business at Verditek, and Covid hasn't helped them at all. They seem to have kitchen-sinked the bad news. And they now have 1MW of stock. On the - side, it's been floated too early, and the management need to learn much better comms! It's a good point about the company being floated and run by investor types, not industrial managers. And the sales pipeline is unclear. The question is what valuation to put on the business now? Looks like they will need to raise more money for working capital within 3-4 months, probably a similar amount to the last placing. I can't imagine the market being very forgiving and unless there is more newsflow (Paragraf, or a couple more big orders) then it will be hard to raise at a decent price.I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway to see if they can turn it around.GLA NAI
naplion: Guys.. the drop in price is mainly cased by the seller whi h iam sure is nearly done now .. Once cleared the price will bounce back i saw this so many times through my 20 years in investing. The fact that they are selling is not because they know of some thing bad , investors sell for other reasons that has nothing to do with the share . Top up today if yiu are going to or if yiur a new investor .. this is the lowest its going to get
