Website shows no further update to the "..A further update will be posted as soon as possible" one.

Well spotted. This has been going on over a year. An eleventh hour delay to check their maths? You check the maths before you announce the figures and prepare the cheques.

"A further update will be posted as soon as possible" doesn't inspire confidence.

Edit - just crossed my mind that with it having been so long, might there be some interest to be added? A year ago 0.1% pa was a rounding error, but recently our money *ought* to have been earning c.3%.

It's either that, or when they started sending the cash they realised they didn't have as much as they thought.

Edit - ADVFN have unhelpfully blocked both of those - go to ventusvct.com for the circular, which also has a table showing the amounts.

Who'd have thought all this would take over a year...

Thanks @dave129, glad you've had more success then me.

Really no excuse for it taking so long - other than the need to rack up substantial fees.

Let's hope we get our Xmas bonus.

Edit - that's assuming they didn't mean tax year.................

I mailed them a few days ago and this is the reply I got from Samantha Cracknell today:"...We are working alongside Temporis in order to settle the final liabilities and we are hoping to be in a position to administer the final distribution prior to the end of the year..."Let's hope! HMRC barely fit for purpose atm IMO.

Emailed liquidator this week asking for timescale for update, will post response when I get it.

Nothing further on ventusvct.com as of today.

RBC your 2 month response time from HMRC is better than I am seeing: three to four months for a (complex) question and separately for notifying them that I owe them money!
Makes cash flow and other Mx aspects more difficult than they could be.

My recent personal dealings with the tax man are taking about 2 months to get a response to a simple question. I don't know if corporates get a better response, but I'm not holding my breath.

CHQ arrived today, together with covering paperwork:

anticipated final dividends:
Ords - 2.5p per share
C Shares - 1.5p per share
D shares - 1.0p per share.

To be paid at conclusion of liquidation - i.e. after liabilities finalised, tax clearances obtained etc.

No indication of dates given but IMO probably a few months.

Can see the payment direct to bank going in today - hooray. Nothing in the 3 share dealing a/c's yet, but at least we know it's sent, & should get credited when cleared.

Edit - now been credited in all 3 share a/c's too. Not a bad day for the money to arrive.

My latest payment arrived today. I'm very grateful for the updates here. Despite holding shares from launch I've had no communication from the liquidators, and so I only know what's behind the delays from the updates here.
