Lol trying my best homebrew - I've profiled my mistakes on here previously (CRAW last year was a poor one) so it's not always so positive. Been a great year though.

Good luck with moving to BOO Apad and well done Hydrus with your good investment run recently. I am watching BVXP for further weakness and may top up providing I can find some funds!

I'm on board IMM but missed SQZ whilst hovering over the trigger at 53 last week.
Can't win them all...

..although Hydrus seems to be making a good stab at winning them all :)

Good decisions, Hydrus. I'm no good at trading :-( It's not a company I would want to hold long term either.

Not a good reason, really, Lauders. I deserve to lose out on that one.
SOU seems to be building up slowly.

Averaged down on ZOO this morning. Choice was between that and FARN or IDEA. All a bit of a toss up. I guessed that the chart showed ZOO more or less plateauing and that there is plenty of opportunity for news with which to judge its success as a disrupter.

Good news, on the trials, from FARN this morning.

CPC nicely weakening. Might be able to get a few at less than the flotation price :-)

Apad - SDX news but given the reaction you were right to get bored! One day it might do well, so as a long term hold I am hoping it will pay off. Trouble is I might get bored too. Last time I did that with FUTR and COA I lived to regret it. So trying to sit on my hands!

Maybe they sold to Rws because it offered:
1. Critical mass.
2. Greater credibility.
3. Access to markets.

Just speculating.
Must look more closely at forward earnings, FCF, costs and management structures.

Ta dacian. I appreciate your opinion.
I think it is risky, but a minimalistic, efficient infrastructure is hard to compete with if it delivers. If the competition has a high wage bill competition will be hard yards.

Hydrus, sometimes I think the hardest thing in the world is be of an independent mind. The world always drags one back into agreeing with the masses and to worship at the feet of a silverback. Oops - too much tonic :-)

Both. I like ZOO, but I am aware that the CEO plays to all of my prejudices.

Your point about hero investors APAD - Woodford is a classic. I look at his investments and just scratch my head tbh. I suspect that he had a solid approach for a number of years which was picking half decent dividend paying companies and he 'outperformed' the market because what he was doing was fairly sensible - certainly nothing revolutionary and his performance was by no means incredible. Perhaps he has then started to believe in his own legendary status and decided he can pick out winners from relatively early stage loss making companies. That's a totally different investing approach and he's now being found out. I think he will continue to struggle.

APAD ZOO is quite attractive at this level. Too tempting for me I'm back up to 70% of my original holding.

SQZ is now my third largest holding due to recent big rise. Seems a bit odd as it was quite a small investment. My only oil investment and was chosen because they had a big cash balance which was rising month on month due to cashflow from their one producing asset. Cash would have overtaken Mcap in about a years time.I did sell 20% but I've bought them back at a bit lower price as decided not to punish good performance. If the BP deal doesn't go through it will likely go back to mid twenties and at that point I was still 50% up. Think if it does go through there is massive upside. The deal they have struck with BP is extraordinary.

I probably should, Hydrus, but I'm not ready yet. Call it a personal foible.
I liked the systems diagram by the CEO, but I am cogniscent of his being a software fellow. Nevertheless it informs strongly my nascent view of the company. Inclined to add on Monday.

RWS is 1.4% less than my selling price, despite my prediction that it would react well to results and be above my selling point. Although not a big deal my rule that one sells immediately when the story changes has stood me in good stead in the past. Good to have a reminder.
Good luck with your hold, red, I feel I have lost a good company!

Good research, dacian.
Do you think that ZOO has an edge because it is a systems company that uses freelancers?
That is my initial viewpoint.
My tentative view of Moravia is 'what a wages bill'. Specialists are expensive, I know 'cos I r one.

Spent 2hours on the M3 car park yesterday, attrader, but very pleasant today :-)

Great Fever Tree display in Sainsbury today - completely outshining Schweppes - lots of new mixes. £1.35 offer on the big bottles. Must stock up for my Return to the Rock. Drinking a G&T at the moment and there is no doubt it is a different drink from the one I used to load with lemon and ice to take away the taste of Schweppes.

It seems brexit is a blinking context. Speaking as someone who as already brexited, I can recommend it.

Have a chilled out w'end folks.

Moravia has 52 positions vacant.

The Moravia website is impressive - wonder why they wanted to sell?

RWS' purchase of Moravia.
"Localisation is the adaptation of content, software, websites, applications, marketing materials and audio/video for hundreds of languages and geographies which is an essential function for companies seeking to globalise their business. It requires the translation and customisation of clients’ content and platforms for cultural conventions, compliance with local regulations and consistency of brand style and tone."

It occurs to me that comparing this with what ZOO does might be worthy of some reflection.
