Cash burn has been cut here, which shows they're in trouble - less to do and charge for in their non business.

They're going from circa £22m PA to £16m PA

They say they have cash RESOURCES, that's not quite the same as hard cash, cash less than a month ago was circa £8.6m.... but now it's suddenly 10m??? Hmmm. Ah yes, it's 10m cash RESOURCES.

They'll need to raise well before next April - guess which numpties will be suffering more dilution??

"Discussions are progressing with a shortlist of strategic investors to invest in the project to fund the development costs to financial investment decision (FID)."

What the above guff means is - they're gonna raise yet more money (obviously). The strategic investors will want a hefty piece of the company - that means your share in it - but what for, a functioning business?.... NO.... It's to fund another feasibility study before they decide whether the business is worth it - "to fund the development costs to financial investment decision (FID)."

There is no doubt in my mind SHELL will be involved in a much bigger way going forward.

It would definitely not surprise me if Shell were to be named as taking a far greater stake/role in ensuring FID for Bayou Plant and becoming a key stakeholder/partner in rolling out the velocys technology in many GTL plants throughout America and beyond.
Let us await news but I don't think we will have long to wait

With the volume of anticipated news I genuinely see this share double by the end of the year and then lay the groundwork for a sustained rise back towards the 50p mark over the following 12/18 months
the company is confident in hitting all its strategic targets both short med and long term

I fail to see this as a business, it owns an idea which it rents out for peanuts, the rest is project management which they secure funding for to develop the ideas.
The other partners will end up controlling this at some point and investors are unlikely to see returns.
Todays announcement is essentially to bankroll a feasibility study which sounds like it's at such an early stage it will take years to develop into a functioning asset.
They don't really make money, they consume it and will do so for years, they're only on the AIM market so they can keep tapping into ongoing funding.

Never felt it worth foaming at the mouth and bunging money into cash burning rubbish without a full understanding of the business model, and it certainly is not an investment when all one is doing is paying a bloated wage bill via successive fund raises, let others do that.

I've been very bearish on this stock for well over a year, I could see the story but could never see the business.

My opinion from then to now has never changed.
