15/5/2018 11:25 | Super, yes to that, should it be the case. Of course; and no one should conceal the risks. My feeling, fwiw, is that this will be sorted without too much pain. But I kind of would say that, wouldn't I! | brucie5
15/5/2018 11:23 | Brucie - on the other hand if it turns out to be complex, require the stripping of the entire reactor, the design, build and fitting of new parts, using custom built rather than COTS components, all of which then have to be retro-fitted to all other reactors, then it's a very different story. The problem is that at the moment there isn't enough information to be able to distinguish between these two possible outcomes. | supernumerary
15/5/2018 11:09 | Very annoying and totally unexpected. I've also added a few more today just hope they clear it up asap | kirk 6
15/5/2018 10:52 | Seadiver, if this is a technical glitch, albeit an expensive delay to cash positive on ENVIA, in six months time you may be giving yourself a retrospective pat on the back. Once they've sorted it out, onwards and upwards. | brucie5
15/5/2018 10:36 | I have taken this opportunity to reload! | seadiver
15/5/2018 10:31 | arf - 'This is absolutely normal' - almost reminds me of our old friend Corac, and we know how that ended :¬( The big problem is surely that they'll have less income, and more expenditure than planned. Which probably means a need for more cash... | supernumerary
15/5/2018 10:25 | Yes very frustrating. However these things happen in the real world. I am confident that ENVIA will rectify and put in place a solution to get the plant up to capacity again. Velocys technology is great. Remember there is No change there. I expect the best people from Velocys are supporting ENVIA to get this done pronto! | gac141
15/5/2018 10:08 | True Arf, but I bloody bought £6k yesterday, in my and my dear children’s Isa’s. Would have been much happier to buy today and get 1.5x the number of shares with this minor set back. Oh well | gspanner
15/5/2018 10:05 | This is absolutely normal in the installation and commissioning of a highly-complex engineering system. You start it up bit by bit and measure everything you possibly can about how it's performing to check that you understand what's going on. As they say, the root cause is (probably) an ancillary system and will be sorted out in time. If positive cash flow is delayed from Q2 to Q3, that's nothing in the context of the time for which investors have already been waiting. | arf dysg
15/5/2018 10:04 | I heard on lse portal that issue being fixed and news on the way, hope this truth | ironswi

15/5/2018 09:28 | Yes: 'back to 10p'? I think not. | brucie5
15/5/2018 09:27 | Can't be anything other than bad news but perspective is needed here. There is a leak and one of the components outside the FT unit is faulty. It may be a design fault or that a minor part failed. Either way it will fixed, thats what happens in engineering. It doesn't mean the whole complex or concept is flawed. Lessons will be learnt and future design should be stronger. Its a setback and the worst thing for me is that the Plant is unlikely to become cash positive in Q2. If the problem can be fixed quickly that should happen in Q3. 25% drop in VLS's valuation because of a leak, you must be joking. "Be brave when others are fearful." Warren B | mikemine
15/5/2018 09:16 | A shame that this has happened when the story was looking so good. This has clearly shaken out a bit of nervous money. I will wait for the dust to clear. I don't see it as affecting the underlying progress on RR, and accreditation of course; but can understand nervousness short term about possible costs to VLS of whatever has gone wrong at ENVIA. Presumably, lessons will be learned, and the technology will have to incorporate them into future plans. It doesn't appear to be anything to do with the VLS IP side of things. | brucie5
15/5/2018 08:30 | Probably close at 14-15p - alot of company for very little money! | jace86
15/5/2018 08:12 | Business as usual with VLS one step forward two steps back. Back to 10p. | john henry
15/5/2018 08:11 | Multi-bagger ramping... yeh, right! | goodgrief
15/5/2018 07:52 | I believe it's because Velocys own a third of Envia. Plus they supplied the lending. So all parties will have to look at how they fund the repair. | jace86
15/5/2018 07:43 | jace, agree, yet it is the last sentence though which will worry investors "Velocys remains committed to the ENVIA plant and will work with ENVIA to assess the likely repair cost and consequent funding requirements" Why would VLS need to worry about funding requirements if the cause is an ancillary system in ENVIA LLC's plant? | sportbilly1976
15/5/2018 07:38 | Read it. The fault isn't with Velocys tech. Other reactor still running and red rock order for the new plant is still being progressed. Only thing of note here is that the plant isnt likely to be positive Q2. | jace86
15/5/2018 07:33 | 20’s. Read the RNS | eithin
14/5/2018 17:05 | Absolutely great consolidation though ready for a fire into the 20s | kirk 6
14/5/2018 16:38 | Jimmy, all the buying yet no upwards movement - the seller is providing the stock to satisfy the buyers...once cleared you'll see a large sell posted AT trades are chipping away at the order, but as soon as one bit is fully taken the order book is reloaded with another line of stock | sportbilly1976
14/5/2018 10:40 | Even Friday someone said there was a big seller yet I didn't not see any big sells. Where are they hiding these so called big sells | jimmyhoffa262
14/5/2018 10:09 | This is the game of spread! | seadiver |
