They seemed to believe the Kivu Graben in Rwanda was a large and promising target

I'd say the extension is to do with negotiating the PSC (which is what the TEA allows), one month to do more technical evaluation after several years work already would be neither here or there - IMHO.

Not sure if that is good or bad news on Rwanda, 1 month extension, on evaluation? Are we going to let the rights lapse there?

LOL! Very happy to have VEL as my biggest holding thank you :-)

So trading has gone back a day, I hadn't noticed that. I still have FLOR shares in both broker accounts, not VEL as yet.

I'm quite pleased how the VEL price has held up given the placing going on over there.

Honestly speaking I would like to see a farm-in partner on these wells to spread the risk, however I am very excited about what we will discover- I note Africa Oil's recent hit rate in Kenya, every one has come up good.

Afren too have high hopes of the Seychelles prospects (which we will also farm-down) so there is plenty to go at, and L9 too.

Well that's it folks, all done. Goodbye Fluormin and we start trading on Monday again as part of Vanoil.

Very exciting future and I can't wait for those two wells to start particularly after PaiPai on block 10A.

anyone buying Fluormin this pm, @ 13.5p say 14p = 21cts / a rough .8 vel sh for each flor, = circa 26cts each, plus the warrants thrown in ------- current price in vel is circa 38cts to buy ..... nearly 50% less !!!

Anyone wanting VEL they should buy here!!

From AFR today

Seychelles Areas A & B
In Q1 2013, Afren completed a major 3D seismic programme, the first 3D survey to be conducted in the Seychelles. The programme consisted of two surveys in Afren's licence areas. The first 3D survey was conducted in the southern portion of the licence over the Bonit prospect and covered 600 km2. The second survey was in the northern section of the licence area and covered an area of 2,775 km2. The new 3D seismic combined with existing 2D data are being processed by the Partners to assess in detail the Tertiary, Cretaceous and Jurassic prospectivity.
Gross un-risked prospective resources for the two areas are estimated at 2,800 mmboe
