18/7/2017 18:28 | VELA has several investments. Currently looking at RTD. At first sight RDT suffered because it went from stating this in January..... ' Board remains focused on achieving cash flow break-even during the current financial year.' To,a share-placing announced around April at 4.5p half the share price at the time in order to acquire Integritie. 'Rosslyn announces that it has conditionally agreed to acquire Integritie (UK) Limited for a total initial consideration of GBP2.588 million and has conditionally raised a total of GBP2.29 million, before expenses, by way of a placing of up to 50,955,000 new ordinary shares at 4.5 pence (the "Firm Placing"). In addition the Company has conditionally raised GBP2.21 million before expenses by way of a placing of up to 49,045,000 new ordinary shares at 4.5 pence each (the "VCT/EIS Placing") and also announces an Open Offer to raise up to approximately GBP0.5 million.' that NEVER GOES DOWN WELL with shareholders. However now the RTD share price has gone down to that then perhaps they will recover. More research needed. XCAP.VELA they sold some shares so have slightly better cash situation than previously. ' the Company disposed of a total of 50,000 common shares in BTL Group Ltd ("BTL") at prices between C$5.175 per share and C$5.59 per share and with an average price of C$5.26 per share generating net proceeds of C$263,106.15 for the Company (equivalent to GBP152,530.79 at the prevailing exchange rate (the "Disposal")). The proceeds from the Disposal will provide additional working capital for Vela and enable the Company to take advantage of further investment opportunities as and when they arise. ' | hazl

18/7/2017 16:02 | Right from the little I have seen RDT looks most interesting. Again its a data firm. To understand why I am so interested in these firms just have a look at this. Remember this is not compiled from an investors point of view but more to understand the environment our future generations will inhabit, what chance they have of getting a job and what they should be accomplished in if they want to succeed. This gives it even more weight as far as I'm concerned. True we don't know which firms are going to succeed but VELA has done all it can do and pick a range of them. RDS 'S TURNOVER is up year on year and perhaps ot's share-price shouldn't be langushing I will look further. IMO | hazl
18/7/2017 14:20 | I think I will have to look into their various different investments; I must admit I think they are worth getting on their BTL and cash alone....that's what attracted me..but I heard the Rosslyn share has some following. Any expertise here on these? | hazl
18/7/2017 13:11 | very interesting video above. | hazl
18/7/2017 12:59 | MAY 2017 ' I am delighted to present BTL’s first White Paper which focuses on blockchain technology’s application to the energy space. Over the past few months, BTL has been undertaking a European wide energy focused blockchain technology pilot. The pilot commenced on the Alpha version of Interbit, our enterprise focused blockchain platform, with some of the largest energy companies in the world. During this process we have learned a great deal about how blockchain technology could 'benefit the energy sector by significantly increasing efficiencies and reducing costs. | hazl
18/7/2017 12:44 | 'BTL is working towards the Beta release of Interbit in Q3 of this year, and continues to test and validate Interbit in the market with its pilot projects.' | hazl
18/7/2017 12:42 | JUNE 2017 'BTL is pleased to announce it is taking steps towards a go-to production phase on its Interbit platform, following the successful completion of its European energy trading pilot with BP, Eni Trading & Shipping and Wien Energie. The intense, 12 week pilot involved building out an energy trading confirmation solution on BTL’s Interbit platform, which was successful in all 8 test scenarios. The pilot proved that Interbit can streamline many trading and back office processes across the energy trade lifecycle.' | hazl
18/7/2017 12:16 | This is undervalued and it is my belief the market will see that soon. VELA management were, I think, very prudent to take some profits from it''s BTL investment to realise some cash, but also keep some as well. With the various investments thrown in, I think for a small firm, they are on the button! Blockchain is so new but seems so versatile that I think with it's remaining investments alone this is going to grow in value over the years. H IMO | hazl

17/7/2017 17:25 | So, there's a few elements key to vela: Btl -blockchain. Pretty much 10 bagged from original investment, and if blockchaij takes off, that investment potentially could be worth a lot more. Then, we have Rosslyn data. And this article from a year ago, might be rearing itself again: Possible buyout by Microsoft.... Then we have nektan investment, which looks like it's doing well... Then we have unquoted airportr. This last year, anecdotally looks like their business has been growing fast, with a tie in to BA. The exclusivity of which ends around September time, which may allow tieups with other airlines. Then of course, there's the possible expansion of airports that it operates from to consider, uk wide, and beyond.... Airportr are reporting to companies house their accounts by end of September, so we should have a much clearer picture of how their business is performing... Conservatively, their assets are worth £4-5 million or more (and that doesn't include all of their investments, i.e. The vibe for instance, and their car tuning business).. Overall, Defo an undervalued company... L. | lazygun
17/7/2017 16:27 | Tasty 2.62m buy there, good day overall even with the traders taking their peanuts. DC | daicaprice |
