20/11/2007 10:11 | Gerd, You are correct about the market and altho' there are a number of shares out there with what appears to be silly PE's, the market still doesn't believe that they are achievable. For example, BDI, FAN, VEG, RCG etc etc. The market appears to be taking the view that these companies will not achieve their forecasts and are therefore marking them down. Don't even believe good results will bring about a re-rating either - just look at FAN's results yesterday. We just need to sit back and wait for the lovely Fed to decide that it's a good time to cut interest rates again.... gg | greengiant
20/11/2007 09:51 | What a grim market! Not seen so much gloom for a long time. I know there are big problems out there and I have been holding quite a bit of cash for most of the year but at some stage an economic downturn will be factored in. Are we there yet, I have no idea but companies like Vega must be on the lowest pe ratios for a long long time. Forward pe of 9 and 7.8. In a few years these prices may look crazy but at present people are not buying at all in the belief that prices will go even lower. | gerdmuller

19/11/2007 10:07 | Nasty dip - no reason that I'm aware of. | spaceparallax
15/11/2007 10:42 | sp bobbling around, trying to make up its mind - a positive announcement would help. | spaceparallax
08/11/2007 16:30 | We have some light on the matter - swapsy between BT fund and Barclays. | spaceparallax
06/11/2007 22:18 | Was just wondering that myself. Must be off Market, you don't have to deal through the Lse. Expect another announcement soon as you are required to notify any transaction above 3%. Failing any announcement they have picked them up from several sources below the notifying threshold off market. | menthol
06/11/2007 15:18 | Where the hell have Barclays managed to get hold of nearly 6% holding without significantly influencing the sp?? | spaceparallax
12/10/2007 09:08 | Me and my big mouth! | spaceparallax
11/10/2007 08:34 | The teach-ins certainly seemed to have helped the share price recovery. | spaceparallax
01/10/2007 15:34 | Interesting RNS - perhaps they'll include a unit for Directors on the importance of timing share Sells appropriately! | spaceparallax
27/9/2007 16:58 | intellesting little blip. | spaceparallax
24/9/2007 15:47 | Whatever he is I wish he would tell the analysts because they do not seem to have revised forecasts down. Not yet anyway. I am tempted by the fundamentals of this co on a forward pe of 10 and 8.5. Market cap of £43m and revenue of £64m. Anomalies are forming in this market I just wonder if this is one more of them. | gerdmuller
21/9/2007 15:23 | Short today at 210. Nice steady downtrend....perhaps the CEO is a trend trader? lol | nirvs
18/9/2007 08:00 | Let's hope that we find support around 200p. | spaceparallax
13/9/2007 09:13 | JA, I suspect that there is in fact no significant problem - sadly the Sell sends out a completely negative message. | spaceparallax
12/9/2007 16:03 | Sells 93k and holds 16k. The words "bargepole" and "would not touch with" - springs to mind. All IMO, DYOR etc. | joshalexander
12/9/2007 16:00 | I know that Directors are entitled to Sell, but such timings are enough to make me weep. | spaceparallax
12/9/2007 12:28 | I agree, this is a guy that only a week ago put out a statement saying all is well. He does not seem to have given any explanation either. I must say when they do things like that you feel like not investing in the company again. | gerdmuller
12/9/2007 10:27 | Just what is PC doing? With the way the share price has been falling, the last thing that's needed is for the CEO to Sell 93K shares that he's just been awarded. He now only holds 16K, along with various options - this sends out completely the wrong message about his faith in the Company's future. At this rate, we'll be lucky if the share price retains the 200p level. | spaceparallax
06/9/2007 11:22 | The Market appears not to be reassured by todays interim statement. | spaceparallax
23/8/2007 12:25 | Nice little rise today. I agree on the matter of value - the only issue at the moment being whether VEG can prove that the recent underperformance was a blip rather than a change in direction. | spaceparallax
22/8/2007 15:00 | couldnt agree more this is a good long term growth pick | dodddy
21/8/2007 08:40 | This one looks very good value again now it has come down with the market. Bought a few recently. At the present price these are on a forward pe of 11 for this year and 9.5 for next. PEG of around 0.6. This type of market does present good opportunities and this looks like one of them. | gerdmuller |
