30/3/2007 09:16 | Anyone know the reason for the sudden rise? | gerdmuller
20/3/2007 11:11 | Nice to see more insti accumulation in recent weeks. | spaceparallax
12/2/2007 11:06 | It'd be nice to maintain momentum through the most recent 240s resistance level. | spaceparallax
05/2/2007 10:33 | On the move again - not aware of any specific reasons for the recent rises. | spaceparallax
02/2/2007 15:50 | I presume that's an increase on M&G's part. | spaceparallax
09/1/2007 09:16 | Nice burst, looking good and still on a very modest sector PER. | spaceparallax
03/1/2007 09:45 | Nice to see the share price awakening again - although I'm unsure as to what's prompted it. | spaceparallax
06/12/2006 12:21 | Good results and good discussion above regarding thr revenue growth. | spaceparallax
06/12/2006 09:53 | True but the lack of revenue growth is masked from them reducing the amount of low-margin contracting work in favour of higher margin consutancy, so revenues will lag the pickup in op profit. Also they took a hit from reduction in NHS work which shouldn't be repeated this year as they redeploy staff to other areas of the government. Not the most exciting business I grant you, but a PE of 10 for 2007 doesn't leave much downside IMHO and you could easily argue a PE of 13 is justified giving a target of 260p and 30% upside. | wjccghcc
06/12/2006 09:44 | Chartwise, VEG has developed an interesting pattern. The recent 199p low registered on 4 Dec 2006 is a tad higher than the 2006 mid June low (196.5p), which is in turn higher than previous low (182p, later Oct 2005). There's, perhaps, some 15% upper side. However, fundamentally, lack of revenue growth never gets me exited. | quickmind
06/12/2006 08:14 | Results better than I was expecting. Maintaining growth in operating profit while they're reorganising the group is good. Current year PE now 11 which seems mean. Bought back in at 204p | wjccghcc
04/12/2006 10:16 | A little panic selling before Wednesday's results - a nice oppo to top up! | spaceparallax
29/11/2006 09:52 | Morning Gentlemen Just joined your merry band with a couple of trades through different brokers-neither of which are showing yet. Looks an interesting punt ahead of 6/12 update, given that the trading update was generally positive and the share price has come well off the boil since highs. Good luck with the holding to all. | cwa1
27/11/2006 13:13 | Not really Gerd, apart from the passing reference to German business being slightly below expectations and perhaps the recent structural changes might have concerned some investors. I view them as having a very positive outlook and like you am keen to add soon. | spaceparallax
27/11/2006 13:02 | I only have a few of these but thinking of adding. Forward pe of only about 12 and 11 for next two years. I have not seen any down grades. Does anyone else have an opinion on the recent fall. | gerdmuller
23/11/2006 10:33 | It looks as if we've bounced off the trend line set by the lows of Autumn 2005, through May 2006 - circa 206/7p. | spaceparallax
22/11/2006 15:23 | 200p is my buy point (if it gets there) | adyjudge
22/11/2006 13:34 | Well Napoleon, we're heading rapidly towards the 200p level. Will it stop? | spaceparallax
20/11/2006 20:11 | VEG reminds me of NCH which also has periodic bouts of weakness, errrr, I mean, which sometimes affords us savy types a nice buying opportunity! ____________________ Without being too clever by half, R of the rising trend is 260p ATM. | napoleon 14th
20/11/2006 16:33 | I really don't understand the dip, except for the reference to slight weakness in the German business, all else looked very sound and we know that the work pipeline is sound. Haven't topped-up for a while, but am watching and waiting. | spaceparallax
20/11/2006 16:10 | Next support = 200p. That would be real cheap..... | napoleon 14th
10/11/2006 11:25 | TS looks pretty sound to me - don't really understand the dip, but fully intend adding if it drops much further. | spaceparallax
10/11/2006 10:34 | seems to be on a mission | johnrxx99
07/11/2006 13:49 | Will we test the 225p support? | spaceparallax
06/11/2006 12:21 | John, Think you're probably right about the 250p level - a milestone number, which can trigger profit-taking. | spaceparallax |
