15/1/2018 10:57 | It could easily be worth north of £30 if the commodity cycles holds for 36 months and they get net debt down to $3bn. | the original goldbug

15/1/2018 09:54 | Note: This is from Mid december but thought it was worth reading in case it was missed. Is Vedanta Resources still cheap? Good news, investors! Vedanta Resources is still a bargain right now. My valuation model shows that the intrinsic value for the stock is £33.12, but it is currently trading at £7.23 on the share market, meaning that there is still an opportunity to buy now. What’s more interesting is that, Vedanta Resources’s share price is quite volatile, which gives us more chances to buy since the share price could sink lower (or rise higher) in the future. This is based on its high beta, which is a good indicator for how much the stock moves relative to the rest of the market. | smurfy2001

12/1/2018 12:52 | I would have thought the move in oil would generate another $500-700m in EBITDA, that’s ballpark without proper analysis. I think above $60 WTI Cairn is a good deal. Vedanta is highly geared and never issued a ton of equity like Rio Glencore etc. It’s not inconceivable to see EBITDA approaching $5b so I think this equity can revisit the early 2010 high of cerca £30 if commodity prices hold up over the next 36 months. | the original goldbug
11/1/2018 16:08 | Cairn India purchase you can say really hasn’t enhanced veds share price going by historic values | linton5
