In the financial markets the normal metric to describe the size of a company is the market cap, that's why we have the FTSE100, 250 etc.

Yes we know that, but their overall assets and rev are a lot bigger.
Just feel buying cne assets has caned this.

VED has a market cap of £2bn, KAZ is £3.2bn.

Why do you compare share prices, it's meaningless. KAZ is over 50% bigger than VED and AAL nearly 9 times the size.
