I have a stocks and shares ISA and that's where I've been holding my VEC shares for a couple of years. No sign of div yet. Will have to call IG. I done recall opting for DRIP

The DRIP transaction by the company was scheduled for 25th. You then have the time to attribute the shares to holders who chose that option. I’d expect something today from the company on the price paid for the DRIP and a few more days after that for them to be transferred to shareholders.

What kind of bet with IG? I got mine on ex divi day as it’s a SB.

edit
A CFD would have received the divi on 25th, at least i theory, unless you opeend it after the close of business on the 11th in which case you are ex dividend and ex consolidtion.

Nice Divi today. Thanks to Polaris, Frazboy, Best and the rest for disentangling information about this most obtuse of companies, whether its accounts, products, royalty stream and even its corporate actions. I normally can understand what most companies I invest in do but this beats the biscuit. I get the impression it has great IP (delivery systems which are the nuts and bolts part of the inhaler market) and a few half decent products, with fluticasone the star. Pity management don't seem to be able to get across the value of the device part of the business-I wonder are they qualified to? I also expect the market is fully discounting a GSK appeal which is why the share price is where it was before the prospect of an extra $100ml hit the wires. Any other company would have soared. Advair is a dead duck I think. The mgmt team are an embarrassment how they have run this company and its PR.

Great find it’s a shame the company make it so difficult to locate this information and even when you do it’s not completely clear it’s like they try to make everything over complicated .
Information on a product using a vectura application should be easily obtained for all investors to locate perfect example the recent special dividend had to be accompanied by a share consolidation which for me was pointless and daylight robbery sorry for the negative posts but this company frustrates the hell out of me

VR632 royalties will be higher than i thought. It is a Vectura formulation and will use a Vectura device. That means we can expect royalties in the mid-teens on net sales. However, the recent Q3 AZN results show that the EU market for year to date was $503M for Symbicort sales, due to analogues and pricing pressures. I also found a presentation from 2017 stating that the expected peak sales of this product would be less than $150M with device aimed to be on market from 2020. If sales and likely royalty rate are met in full then you are looking at around $20M p.a. to VEC by mid 2022.

VR2081 is the US generic of the same thing and is still in development. That market is around $1Bn at the moment. Assuming that the EU approval will help with US generic development (not a given) then you would hope for a submission within the next 2 years and something to market by mid 2022. That will have a similar royalty rate to EU agreement and likely peak sales in the $150-250M region assuming no other generics approved on that timescale. This is 30-50% of the likely market size after 1st generic comes to market due to pricing pressure (see recent generic Advair launch for an example).

That 400odd k could be the DRIP buy, as that is due today according to the announcement of timetable in September.

frazboy - i base my patent opinion on the Exparel agreement, which also covered more than 1 patent family, where royalties ceased on expiration of the first family. I also read into the H1 accounts that the accelerated amortisation of the carrying value of the intangible for Ellipta, due to H1 sales meeting the £9M cap, means that it is the expiry in November 2019 that is the trigger to cease royalty payments. My interpretation may be wrong. Only VEC themselves can appraise us of the actual situation and i have found their IR to be solidly unhelpful in my previous interactions, hiding behind disclosure rules even when the information in the public domain already.

In 4 £5k. 84p was the key. That 400,000+ sell pave the way for the next rise back to 90+.

Thanks for the response Paul, much obliged. I've fired a few pertinent questions to IR.

RE: IP expiry - I mistakenly thought that there was more granularity to the IP patent expiry than the two groups (former VEC (991) and former SKP). I'll read up on the Arrow judgement too but for now I'll assume no future revenues from the former SKP patents.

For what it's worth we're broadly aligned in terms of our revenue/royalty expectations for the next 18/24 months. What happens after then is much more of an unknown.

Thinks should get interesting here with the commencement of the DRIP and buyback but the HBM stock overhang might limit gains.

Best of luck all.

Yes, 4 months so far without a CEO. If no one in place by the end of the year, I'd say that we are in take out territory.
