Polaris, I heavily invested here but have to admit that I've made the classic error of trying to 'catch the falling knife'. However good my investment choice the timing and price paid now look flawed. I agree with you when you say nothing has changed, but surely as far as the market is concerned that is why the share price is getting hammered.

You are entitled to your opinion, as i am to mine. Protection of IP is vitally important in the pharma industry. Entering a GSK v VEC IP case discussion on a BB, without being an expert patent lawyer, is a waste of everyone's time.

polaris do you honestly think Vectura will win against GSK? Not a cat in hells chance. Vectura is a tiny tiddler in comparison to the giant that is GSK. Court cases are dirty and often rigged like the markets. GSK will win no doubts at all. Vectura are fools once again to waste money and time on this.

well this is either a double bottom, or starter to a new breakdown low. I commend Paul's patience. Perhaps main advantage of not selling in the short term, is that it is not overpriced as the wider tech market, and is on past form, due a bounce.

Nothing that has happened in the last week surprises me one bit. I am now back online after a few days where my priorities lay elsewhere. After the IC tip, i stated that i expected to see the low tested and we hit that today as it's just more fuel for the shorting syndicate.

What has changed in the last week? Nothing but the short term share price If anyone feels that the investment case has changed then, as ever, re-evaluate and sell up. Take the loss and move on.

@Andrew. Am i worried? No. Nothing has changed for me on my timescale (i can only reiterate the on my timescale). The only issue for me is the necessity to transfer more margin from my almost zero %savings account (so hardly losing anything) into my trading account to cover my open positions.

We will soon reach a capitulation bottom, as everyone is lashing out. Will i buy more? Probably not, but it depends just where the capitulation bottom takes us to. Can we go lower in the short term? Absolutely.

If big boys not snapping Vectura at this price, means no value in company at all beside cash - 80 mil !?
I had many years ago the same troubles with sky pharma and after merger the same troubles - sfter merger double tripple troubles

All day long automated algo trading - like soldiers going down and selling selling

diesel-yes, you are right, why would the FD leave if the future was bright. I know there can be many reasons for a director to move on but it should have been a red flag after all the positive noises from the company.

The 'new' strategy looks more and more like a desperate bid to hold onto jobs, the FD should have given us all a clue, he obviously was not convinced.

Well something going on but what ? now only worth a few million more then they paid for SKP.Im really so happy that the BOD are still getting paid for doing such a great job.do they sit there and never look at share price and perhaps think this is not right ,no they are getting paid !!!!

a1ord53-I have no idea, I don't even know why I didn't sell at 130+ just after the bad news regarding the Advair generic. Many years ago I held on to SKP when they fell to the 20s and was richly rewarded when they eventually rose quite dramatically, now I am just hoping for more modest gains. Until and unless we get some good news the share price is at the mercy of anyone who wants to manipulate it, the volumes are quite low.

Why they were buying @95p and not buying @70p ?
On shorts - they not stupid and they do need one day to cover - to buy 5-7 mil will be not easy - so what they expecting for share price ?

Sudden drop and 68p hit. 52 week low. Low volume, blatant manipulation most likely by GSK traders crushing the share price They need to just reach an out of court settlement and I have told Lilley as much last night.

a1ord53-it is no surprise that there is aggressive selling, it is a long time since we had any significant good news. Polaris's posts are positive but only for the longer term. Until management produce the deals they were so bullish about at the start of the year, I can see no reason why anyone should buy at the moment.

Looks like for short sellers fair value of Vec is zero.
Plenty of stock being offering for sale and no buyers .
Is itt end of Vectura ? And Victory for shorts

70 p is not attractive for insiders ?
No buys from management .
If they dont believe in their business, how investors can trust them their money ?
New strategy doesnt work or not yet .
Shares were falling down during bull market and now falling with correction or bear begin market.
Looks like value of Vec to high now and should we expect new falls ?
Disappointed , cause been fooled by management. They are stories tellers and nothing more than storries tellers.
