Perhaps some comparisons here with LRD ? After encouraging updates share price went up above £1.60 but then drifted down to sub 120 , opening the gate for a cheap t/o today at 200p. Looks like market manipulation.

What I don't understand is why no RNS on holdings or is it the same people trading back and forward? Can't see why anyone would do that unless they know something we don't.

If you think the latest VECTURA share price is depressing take a look over at VERNALIS they are trading at around 4p while just a few years ago I was kicking myself when they were 72p

@pob - If you are going to be back then let me know the date and i will free up some cash for the inevitable assault on the 70p level! ;-) I'll need to set the orders and i'm currently trying to manoeuvre my way to realising the RIO dividend in the best possible way for tomorrow, so my available capital is linked to a set of limit orders.

No not till next week so price should be going up ,with family near LIMOGE -13C last night left the south of France yesterday morning with 6ins of snow.

I feel it’s time to add to lower my average it as to be oversold at these levels even with no good news on generic and litigation ,it’s over sold from a trading point of view .

I am fully aware of that aspect. I have said the same thing for a while. The fact that the company has said nothing backs the view that there is nothing new to state. They have their hands tied until the FY results announcement. As i said a few weeks back at the 71-72p level, pick your level and jump in. This is my area.

Polaris,This has all the hallmarks of a short attack-principally exploiting the Advair generic uncertaintyIf one accepts adjusted ebitda as the valuation basis the stock is trading on around 9 times earnings (after stripping out circa £100m cash)

Well at least the company is not overpaying on the buy back. More shares will be bought than the position if the shares were at a higher price. Logically the company should like this, so long as they are positive about its future.

Have said for a long time someone knows something we don't and its not looking good hope BOD are feeling pleased with themselves! Also don't think for one moment they are going bust.

The share price performance has the feel of a co going out of business!, management really have got something wrong, the share buyback seems to have added to price depression.

I am in for a little punt and I am considering buying more but will happen when the share buyback stops?
that is a concern as it seems they are well ahead given the amount they are buying every day
