14/11/2017 07:45 | Pleased to see the share buyback as, hopefully, it reduces the risk of them blowing the money buying a USA marketing company. Not a huge amount but should produce a positive reaction. | alexchry
14/11/2017 07:45 | share buy back £15. I calculate that as 16.666m shares. over 6 months / 26 weeks thats 128k shares per day. | citytrader66
14/11/2017 07:12 | Yes I have contacted IR a couple of times suggesting this but until now they have said it was not under consideration. I see this as a positive, proactive step by the BOD but we'll see what effect it has on the SP, if any. | gbcol
13/11/2017 11:40 | yes very few but if you look closely goes down afterwards well most of the time strange | pooroldboy55
13/11/2017 11:24 | i'm seeing very few O trades. waiting for AT bot trades to push this up a bit maybe to £1 then i'm likely out. gap at c.95p to fill.. | citytrader66
13/11/2017 10:02 | And what brought the price down this morning after a 2p rise a few small O trades someone does not want to see this up!! well thats what i think what about the rest of you? | pooroldboy55

11/11/2017 20:10 | I predict rally up to 120 p Extremely over sold Big investors will step in and buy to average and shorts will be squeezed . | a1ord53
10/11/2017 14:07 | no wonder the short sellers are winning here when no one is looking anymore at the fundamental data of the company and only at these to recurring bad news over and over again.... | 0815exitstrategy
10/11/2017 12:55 | I got out at 120p for a small loss and have considered coming back in again at this level, but decided against it. I might consider again if it drops below 80p... which I think it almost certainly will if they lose the FDA dispute ... and they have a good chance of that happening. To me the risk of losing any dispute with the FDA sometime next spring is too high, likewise the chances of wining any court case that is not in any-case due to be heard until the very end of next year. They are absolutely obligated to try to protect their IP and HAVE to pursue the court case of course, they have no other option other than capitulation, but the chances of winning against GSK are also very doubtful IMO. I also believe that if any 'out of court' settlement talks had shown any chance of being successful then it would have been apparent by now. I believe it's a combination of those sentiments, together with there being no other major (good) news expected which has driven this down and also IMO gives a good chance of ensuring this stock has an even more miserable and despondent 2018 than this year. Unless there is a resolution in favour of the generic advair next year... I think this is now one to stay clear of. | dontay
10/11/2017 09:40 | Where to today?, is that a double bottom revealing itself, ooh er ... | diesel
09/11/2017 18:26 | That Advair must be some inhaler! Pity its been around for donkey years! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Again and again. Market is broken. | justiceforthemany
09/11/2017 17:58 | Hoping to see that the BODs have been dipping their toes again today!!!! | cap160
09/11/2017 17:17 | NUMIS reduced target price to 170 p from 205 p - didn't Numis know that ADVAIR lost for timebeing in MAY ? Nothing else been changed since MAY !!! | a1ord53

09/11/2017 16:35 | Whoopsy, quite substanial trades going through. "Sell" or "buy"? | 0815exitstrategy
09/11/2017 15:57 | The question is, how many times can you slash the share price for the same bad news? If the company had publicly abandoned hope of advair in USA on first setback (even if keeping an application going) there might have been a slightly larger initial impact but no excuse for multiple slashes and we should probably still have been around 110p now. Elementary psychology really - but being wise after the event I suppose. Anyway, shorters have to close to crystallise their profit and the sort of progress that can produce can be seen from the notorious attack on PAYS. I wonder if GSK has any ideas for taking out some competition on the cheap? As regards bottom fishing, it's a dangerous game unless one has justifiable confidence to hold long term and see it through further weakness. Shorters can use crowd psychology to turn logic on its head for a significant time. Personally, I would like to see a further attempt at a spike down rebuffed by a sharp kick back up to confirm committed support from this level. | boadicea
09/11/2017 14:00 | Oops somebody pressed the wrong button... | cap160
09/11/2017 13:59 | Or Hikma even..... | cap160
09/11/2017 13:57 | What happened at Hickman-Now unchanged???? | cap160
09/11/2017 11:03 | The update has prompted me to look back at the last interim results which indicated that 90.1% of revenues for the 6 mth period were recurring and although it is still loss making we only used £2m of net cash in the period dropping from £92.5m to £90.5m. Whilst the news today is unwelcome I still feel comfortable to continue holding. | pj84
09/11/2017 10:14 | Have a look at the trades goes down after O trades someone still trying to get the price lower . | pooroldboy55
09/11/2017 10:11 | Suspect a BTG VEC merger may be wide of the mark that said VEC looking very vulnerable at the moment and an opportunistic overseas buyer may take advantage of our weak management, share price and weak £ to make an opportunistic bid? Personally I hope not as long term value should prevail ……… | cityfarmer |
