Mine too (as is overly evident on that EV thread!). Good to see someone with a product that doesn't look goofily alternative. But I've no idea how they look as an investment prospect and have not looked at their business model. There are quite a lot of makers of electric bikes/scooter around the world, but ample scope for someone to go for the more cool area of the market. The others are all smaller and cheaper - in some cases purely practical cheap downmarket products selling to people who can afford nothing more - and some just twee.

Do you think there will be any interest with so many new issues clamouring for attention? At the moment investment here is an act of faith, there is no commercial track record. Thanks for the link and amendments made as requested.
EV's just happen to be an interest of mine.

kingfast - can we have clickable website link in header?
Plus the News and Fundamentals panel?

Q: How much does road tax cost ?
A: Vectrix is exempt from road tax.

Q: How does Vectrix perform?
A: In road tests conducted by our specialists, Vectrix demonstrated a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h), an acceleration of 0-60 mph in just over 8 seconds, and a range of up to 70 miles.

Q: How much will it cost to insure my Vectrix?
A: Insuring a Vectrix scooter can be as much as 50% less expensive than insuring a traditional gas-scooter.

Q: What happens if the batteries run out of charge before I reach my destination?
A: Vectrix has a sophisticated in-dash display that provides useful information, such as battery status and remaining range. In the unlikely event that the batteries do run out, they can be easily charged from any standard power outlet.

Q: How much electricity does it take to fully charge the Vectrix scooter?
A: Electricity costs about 25 pence to fully charge the batteries.

Q: How far can I travel before I need to recharge the batteries?
A: Vehicle range is very dependent upon your driving habits and the terrain of your trip. At a constant speed of 25 mph (40 km/h), which is the average around-town commuting speed, the scooter will travel 68 miles (110 km) on a single charge.

(PS: 'Tis a pity this is launched as a Premium BB Only thread - almost guarantees that someone will launch a rival thread with wider access. I have added a link to this one from the EV thread)

Vectrix Corporation, designs, develops, assembles and sells high-performance, zero-emission, two-wheel electric vehicles.

The Company has developed the first high-performance, zero-emission electric Maxi Scooter. Vectrix's MAXI Scooter, which has a top speed of 62 mph, a range of over 60 miles and acceleration of 0 - 50 mph in 6.8 seconds and peak power exceeding 20kW. It is the Company's first vehicle that has been designed for mass commercial production and competes with traditional internal combustion engine ("ICE") bikes in the 125cc to 400cc space.

The Vectrix MAXI Scooter is designed to satisfy the driving demands of the urban commuter, who faces increased congestion in urban areas combined with inadequate public transport and parking. Favourable environmental legislation, greater environmental awareness among consumers and increasing operating costs of traditional vehicles are also expected to drive demand for the Vectrix MAXI Scooter.

In recognition of the Company's achievement in developing its MAXI Scooter, Vectrix was awarded the 2006 Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation and Leadership in Alternative Vehicle Technologies.

From the web site it appears they the company was formed in 1996 and has spent $25 mill developing this technology. Site is short of substance, no sales/turnover indicated. The company is based in Newport U.S.A. and the European company in Rome. Will watch and wait, share price going down today.
