They are cheap thats a fact.
The MM's don't need any encouragement to drop any price.
But AP seems to be obliging with his last RNS.

The thing is this loan he has taken out is priced in now, nothing we can do about that now. But at least we now have money to move the assets we have along. That seems to have been missed by the market completely. So from here, if AP is true to his word and all he has said will come to fruit it should all be positive news.
Now its over to AP to deliver.

Carla

you are coming over as a nasty piece of work for some reason.
Feliz año nuevo

Footlose, it is a very frustrating share to be in. I have a few left but sold most ages ago. I made money in the early days and then lost all profits when Roy Pitchford started his desperate death spiral financing. I used to communicate with Roy via email and fell out with him after that dreadful funding.
Roy wanted to run before he could walk and had a big ego. I have met him a few times but the reason I am writing this is I spent a good half an hour a with Andrew Prelea in the bar of the IoD in London after a presentation. He came across as committed and genuine and had put his other business interests aside to concentrate on Vast Romania. He is now CEO which is a good move as RP made a right mess of Vast. The problem they have got is that the assets have been accumulated but the funding needed has not. Delays and set backs make the situation worse. AP has a lot to gain and lose here too as he owns part of the Romanian part of Vast. This will either do very well or very badly now imo. It will either be a great success of fail completely. Cashflow is key here and sufficiently funded and the assets have great potential. Without it, it will collapse. That is the reason he has had to get this bridge imo as it is a moving feast and no funds for operations would end in disaster. Try to switch off and see where this is in Jan. I have no agenda at this stage but will buy in once I see this as a sustainable profitable business as the upside is then in the assets.

Well i am of the opinion that AP is a good go-getter for assets, but he is no finisher. He has had plenty of time while waiting for BP to get finances sorted.
T2 should have been lined up months before BP was finally handed over. Lets face it his constant comments that we are inches away went on for months. Was he just lying and had no real idea when or if BP would arrive. So was in no rush to get T2 sorted.
What was it with the comments that he had ii's lined up to buy in, well if he classes the likes of bergen as ii's he wants to get involved with we are in trouble.I am sorry to say that yes he has got us some good assets this year, but when you look at the rest of his work or his comments he has just not delivered.

I will say this, i have millions of these, i do not plan on selling one, but do intend buying more in Jan. I still think with the assets here if he can do what he says and he then gets some decent finance arranged this could be the share of 2019.
But he has rocked me with this last finance he has done.
The clock is ticking AP, along with your supporters.
One more missed promise, 7 Jan you have said and you will start to lose the rest of your supporters, along with the little credibility you have left.
I just hope i don't get the chance to buy.

Beggars can't be choosers. If it bridges the second tranch, it is well worth doing but if there is a genuine reason for tranch 2 stalling and it does not materialise, it could be big problem. Vast have plenty of assets but until they start to make profits, they are a liability and that is the risk here. Get them to profit and you are away but until then, it's high risk with a lack of funding.

PS

Hit 2 year lows the other day.
Hell whats not to like.
Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year AP.
Got anymore little bombs for us in the new year?
AP is speeding his way towards the top ten CEO's in the Rogues Gallery for 2018.
Comments like this have helped his course no end. This could have a market cap of 250+m this time next year. Then throwing in a RNS just before the holiday season thanking all share holder with a death spiral finance package wrapped up as a Bridging Loan.

i'm a troll, lol.
When was the last time you posted on here, before you came on and told me to sell.

Your advice is as welcome as telling people to buy in at the bottom. What do some people think they do, try to buy in at the top? lol.

This is a mess now, the captain dropped the bomb on a holiday period and left the scene of the crime. As low a trick as any CEO of a AIM company could do imo.

GREAT NEWS FOR RUR!

RNSToday 11:08About time we received some positive news:

Rurelec PLC

("Rurelec" or the "Company")

Substantial debt repayment and Update regarding Energia del Sur, S.A.

Substantial debt repayment

The Directors of Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR), the owner, operator and developer of power generation capacity in South America, announce that they have today repaid £400,000 to Bridge Properties (Arena Central) Limited in respect of clearing outstanding interest payments on short-term loan facilities dated 17 February 2016 and 13 April 2016.

Update regarding Energia del Sur, S.A.

Further to the announcement of 24 September 2018, the Directors of Rurelec PLC have been informed by the management of Energia del Sur S.A. ("EdS"), which owns and operates the 136 MW Southern Patagonian CCGT power plant in Argentina, that the major overhaul of the steam turbine is progressing satisfactorily, and it is estimated to be completed in early January 2019. Whilst this is not guaranteed, the riskier parts of the major maintenance project have been satisfactorily completed and EdS management thus have a high degree of confidence in predicting the start up in the timescale indicated.

A further update will be provided once the plant becomes fully operational.

I think you need a reality check.

That bridging loan has done more damage to this companies Sp than anything else AP could have dreamt up. This was also after he said he would not go down this way of financing.
He has had six months to sort out T2, but as with everything else its not his fault.
Well i have supported him for over a year, this BOMB he has thrown in here and walked away from for his nice holiday is the last straw for me. He now has to get his game play head on and sort this almighty mess out.

I have read that people have been forced to sell at this price because of there losses. Now you are advocating i should sell up and anyone else who dare voice there dismay at this ludicrous decision AP has made.

What happened to the last 1m placing. Two months have gone by and no news.
What happen to the new plant we were told was needed and planed in july.

"Part of the funds raised in the Company's recent placing will be used to pay for the deposit on new dumpers and excavators that should allow for higher equipment availability, ore and waste movement, and plant throughput".

He has also had 3 placing in the last six months, plus this latest BOMB.
He has had T1 also, where has all this money gone, anyone care to guess?

The way the market cap is going if he does get T2 he would have had almost the same amount of money to spend as the market cap is valued.
