The "investor" which ever one of the 2 , will finish with almost 30% of VAST.

No need to buy a few mill in the market.

Everyone should have you on filter.

You'll find that its not a loan and not debt, but a funding agreement that can be converted into VAST shares at 0.4p (with the investee holding around 29% of the company). Big difference is that the company remains debt free and can put this substantial cash pile into development of the Manaila central processing facility and BP.

Ed.

Whichever way you look at it though, it's not a bank loan, it's an investment for a share of the company (or its subsidiary). So even though there might not be more shares issued in the listed entity VAST, the share of the subsidiary (and therefore profits) which VAST owns is decreasing or being diluted.I do agree the post above though, that a large placing/dilution/whatever you want to call it, doesn't necessarily mean that the prospects for the share price are held back.

I agree this is an investor coming in at 0.4p for $10m. Actually two competing investment sources at present. Saying that it pins the price at 0.4p isn't true as its assuming that this is a seller not looking at the assets. We've substantial and growing assets in Romania, planning their second pit already at Manaila/Carlibaba. We're now very close to the final ministerial sign off BP licence too. GKP for example placed at 9p within a few months they were over £1, then gradually on to over £4! Just because a company is over-sold, and it is over sold given the growing production and rising copper and zinc prices, doesn't mean it won't go up after a new investor arises. The company is planning to become a significant European copper producer and reading its progress this year its heading in the right direction. with operations intended to commecence on BP licence by year end too and soon to be very well funded we're going to see an even more intense growth phase coming from the company. I'm looking forward to see what they do with the free cash flow from Manaila and the $10m investment. Most likely bring the plan together for the second pit, central processing facility for Manaila and Carlibaba and get BP into production. So yeah all of that is likely to see these at multiples of the current investment. Those two competing funders will want to see good returns on that 0.4p and the company certainly has the assets to achieve that for them.

Ed.

cyber .. I wouldn't want to give anyone advice but they way I see it it is an investment in the company rather than a fundraising i.e. they won't be selling of any kind and will hold on to their shares.

Yorgi has been around here a lot longer than me and can answer your question better.

Does it not mention "at a price of 0.4p" in the relevant RNS of a few weeks ago?

You think the fund raising will hold back the share price for 6 - 12 months ? LMFAO

It ISN'T fundraising, as you put it, it is a strategic investment into the company.

" "The Proposed Investment by a strategic investor of up to US$10 million
should enable us to execute our strategic objectives in Romania, and I
look forward to providing further updates as appropriate as this process
continues." "

Yeah sounds like it is really going to kill progress and the share price ... oh dear !!

I used to hold some here and have been keeping an eye on it.I think the news today is very positive. But surely the (proposed) massive fundraising at 0.4p is going to place a ceiling on the share price not much above 0.4p for the next 6-12 months?
