Hopefully the 'Truth' is out there and should be revealed this morning.

I wouldn't want to hazard a guess as to how the market will react.

Such a thin market and nervous investors has not been good

Maybe all the fears will be put to rest today but at what cost

Will hopefully put peoples minds and wallets at rest.

Good luck everyone.

lol it’s a good job this dropped 50% in a day otherwise we would have codger daily giving it this is definitely going to break out pmsl. Codger I said it was going down further it did I then said if I was a buyer it would have to be substantially lower I’m stating facts not fiction about the company. The thing is being a buyer at a certain level doesn’t make me an investor you prat I just guess how many idiots like yourself bought and at what level thinking that it must be cheap! Pps will break out one day and you will be correct for a change but what will your loss be?

Fear and perception are the watchwords

I would imagine a fair few investors got mullered by the collapse of the doorstep lenders and although Vanquis is a different beast that uncertainty is prevailing given its origins.

This could be a bargain or another destruction of shareholders investments

I am currently holding Lloyds but this Car finance is weighing very heavily in light of the share price performance of Barclays and Nat West though they were both suffering equally a few months ago.

Prefer my Insurers but am now so top heavy in particular in Lgen that i have to desist from any further sallys forth.

Am dying (bad pun ) to buy Bats for the dividend but as an ex smoker have to resist

all the best be lucky

Nothing mysterious about this I m afraid

The taint and the fate of Wonga, Amigo, NSF hangs heavy in the air.

The car loans debate has exacerbated the problem Close Brothers and Lloyds all suffering in no small measure.

Until that has been cleared up this and they will continue to suffer.

Investors are running scared when they should be looking to invest.

Uncertainty rules for the time being.

Have to suffer for time being. This too shall pass !

Good luck everyone

Realising your serious because we are coming up to dividend payment day meaning that over a short period investors will receive cash that they may reinvest back into the stock which “might” increase the share price and with this being hit so hard could be a wise choice.

As a short term punt you could be right but

My view of the market is that not many willing sellers but even fewer willing buyers

The bots in the states and elsewhere are in full control due in no small part to the ineptitude of the powers that be and the political parties need for their continued financing by their hedge fund masters.

The dividend is a draw but very wary of the rug being pulled and the buyers and the bids dropping out as investors adopt a cautious approach and conserve their cash.

Good luck you are a braver man than me

I know some of you have seen this before but I'm posting it again for those who haven't. Posted back in May.
Because of the Jaguar price reduction today 28th July, it now looks a better buy
but it still needs a lot of repair work.

I'm going to compare IPF to Vanquis Bank and see why investors prefer Vanquis rather than IPF. I'm using two second hand cars that are on the market as an example.
The Vanquis Jaguar compared to the IPF Mini. The Jaguar looks better than the Mini but you can't just go on looks.
Lets see what's under the bonnets. I am impressed, the Mini has a cooper S engine, and that's a plus I wasn't expecting. Now for the Jaguar, OMG it only has a 1300cc engine, no wonder it has hardly moved in the last three years. There's a brick behind the back wheel as the handbrake isn't working properly and it keeps rolling backwards. The owners tell me they have made lots of improvement but I just can't see where. Shame they didn't fix the handbrake. The performance is poor due to the engine cc size. Looks are deceptive, you need to delve deeper when buying into something. CC stands for customer count and their inability to increase it. Until they make the cc bigger, this Jaguar isn't going anywhere. So lets take a look at how positive they are about increasing the size of the cc. Look at their Annual Report and what Tracy the ICU nurse had to say, there's the answer. Signing up the spouse or partner to become another customer. the deceptive way to increase the cc. If anything changes in that household you double the problem with reduced or non payments. Also, part of the cc isn't working as these are credit card holders who don't use them. Vanquis you need new door customers, adding a twin carb is not the answer. Now lets look at the Mini cooper S. Strong cc and increasing. It can drive anywhere, unlike the Jaguar. It has driven into a new area of Mexico where the potential of increasing the cc is immense. This car is nippy and going places.
Investors don't be fooled by the look of the Jaguar, it might look attractive but it's the cc size of the engine that counts.

Not invested but technical info for holders/prospective investors.
The current market value guarantees that they will be relegated at the next FTSE 250 reshuffle at the end of August which means that trackers will be bailing.
